Lost and Found

Riele's POV

"El, I don't think we should buy all these, not that we don't have the money but jeez, it's a lot" I said coming out of the changing room glancing down at the outfit I had to try out. Ella had a pile of clothes on a chair she wanted me to try out; Why? I did not know.

"Will you keep quiet? I'm helping you here" she said checking some clothes out but this time for herself.

"How is this helping me?" I annoyingly adjusted the cloth I had on, looking at myself in the mirror. 'I think I like this' I thought turning around admiring the cloth. The white skirt, even though it contrasted greatly with my skin colour, complimented it as well.

The spaghetti strapped pale pink blouse hugged my upper body firmly, exposing my curves. The flowing floral printed jacket completed the look making me look and feel pretty.

"I'm trying to get your mind off the stress you're dealing with" El said heading to the changing room. I hummed not believing her. We both knew this was more for herself than for me. El couldn't shop for herself mostly because she wouldn't be able to lift all the bags of clothes she got. I headed over to the pile of clothes lying on the chair before picking up a dress to try out.

Just as I was about to enter the changing room, Ella came out from the changing room next to mine "This looks nice." she complimented, looking at herself in the mirror. Ella was the definition of beauty. Her blonde hair rolled down her shoulder in fiery waves. The blue gown she wore intricately designed, matched her baby blue eyes. It hung to her body, making her a sight to behold.

"It does" I agreed.

 After All the Shopping Madness

When we were done paying for the clothes, we headed back to my car. "I still don't see the importance of buying these many clothes, El" I said. We already had more than enough. Of course, I loved clothes and maybe I was getting a little tired of my wardrobe but still.

"Will you quit complaining, like I said I'm helping you get rid of all the stress you're getting yourself in. What could you possibly do without me?" Ella flipped her hair over her shoulder as she sat straighter.

I blew out an exasperated sigh, seeing as there was no point arguing with Ella. If Ella told you the sun was green, You'd do well to believe her. It was like arguing with a wall that had ears.

Just as we're about to take a turn to where my apartment was, I remembered. I suddenly hit the breaks causing El and I to be thrown off our seats. The car behind us honked loud as the man driving yelled at us.

"Returning it wouldn't have been a problem if you asked nicely. I know we picked more than enough clothes but did you have to almost kill me before you made your point clear?" Ella asked and I stared at her confused.

"Oh, it's not about the clothes." She smiled sheepishly.

"I left my handbag in the mall" I ignored her and began to panic. "I have to go back." I didn't wait to hear her response as I stepped on the gas and zoomed off back to where we were coming from.

Immediately we got to the parking lot, I ran out of the car. I was out of breath from the moment I got to the cashier.

Note to self: I needed to exercise more. The early morning jogs still haven't done a thing to how fit my body is.

"Please have you seen my handbag? I left it he-" I didn't get to finish my sentence as the cashier interrupted me.

"Do you mean this?" He asked pulling out my handbag from behind him.

"Yes, thank you so much" I sighed in relief as he handed me my bag. I checked to see if anything had gone missing. Thankfully, everything was still there.

"You're welcome. Anything for a pretty lady like you" he winked. I raised an eyebrow that didn't seem to stop the heat that rushed up to my cheek. Someone was being flirty.

He looked handsome with the shaggy brown hair and brown eyes. His smile revealed perfectly whitened teeth.

"I should get going, my friend's waiting for me." I said, heading for the exit when he called me to a stop.

"Wait. Here's my contact." He said handing me a piece of paper.

"Alright." I said blushing as our fingers brushed against each other.

He pecked my cheek, leaving me flustered for a second before I got control over myself and left the shop with a face as red as a tomato.

"What took you so long? It's freezing out here." Ella pouted rubbing her hands against her arms

"Well first, of course, it's freezing course you're putting on a short dress and because it's late, weren't you taught land and sea breeze back in school?" I said with sass.

She stuck her tongue at me and I giggled at her childishness, getting in the car along with Ella. I turned on the air conditioning but for Ella's sake, I switched it to hot, not cold.

She began shivering and I growled at her. "Don't even start with that, I did tell you to let us change our clothes first but of course nothing was wrong with what we're wearing." I said raising my brows mockingly at her before pulling out of the parking lot

"Yeah, yeah whatever. I hate when you're right and that's all the time" she huffed.

"Oh yeah, I had to deal with some guy" I said blushing. I didn't technically deal with him, more like got acquainted with him. I needed to stop this, it was like I was back to being a teenager with hormonal issues.

"Was he hot?" She asked urgently, turning over in her seat to look at me and I raised a brow. Interesting, one minute she's shaking her ass out from the cold and the next, she's fine after hearing about a boy.

"You can say that." I rolled my eyes.

"Tell me everything that happened and do not leave any information untouched." she squealed.

"I will after I stop you from shivering. Oh, you've stopped, that's a miracle." She lightly punched me, making me giggle.

"Alright" I said then proceeding to tell her everything that happened and even showed her his number on the piece of paper he gave me.

"Riele's got a boyfriend. Riele's got a boyfriend" Ella chanted doing a little dance in her seat.

"He is not my boyfriend" I said rolling my eyes. I needed to stop this. I'm too young to die of eye detachment.

"Hmm hmm, that's what they all say." she said not buying what I said even though it was true.

"Whatever. We're here" I announced as I parked in front of her house. There was no way I was dropping her at mine and she knew. There'd be less sleep cause we'd be busy talking about my 'boyfriend' and less sleep was far from what I needed right now.

"Well, see you later." she said getting out of the car, heading to the back seat to get her shopping bags. I contemplated helping her out but I snuffed the thought. She should be the consequence.

"Yeah bye." Once I knew she was inside, I zoomed off.
