Miss CEO
Riele's PovI stared at the gold plated name tag on my desk. The name Riele Downs boldly written on it was special. 'Riele' was given to me by my mother, she would make sure she called that name every time. It seemed to give her joy. I frowned; It has been two years since I last heard from my mother. And to be honest, I don't regret my actions. My actions brought me to this state of mine. Being the CEO of Downs Cosmetic Company at just an early age of 24 was no small feat. My actions got me kicked out of my mother's house years ago and now I'm currently living by myself. It's quite a boring life, having no one to comfort you, not being able to find love cause it was either your love life or work. I sighed as a drop of sweat trickled down my jawline. I had just finished signing another paperwork. This week had being really hectic as purchases were made now and then. People kept on ordering products from my company and

Lost and Found
Riele's POV"El, I don't think we should buy all these, not that we don't have the money but jeez, it's a lot" I said coming out of the changing room glancing down at the outfit I had to try out. Ella had a pile of clothes on a chair she wanted me to try out; Why? I did not know. "Will you keep quiet? I'm helping you here" she said checking some clothes out but this time for herself. "How is this helping me?" I annoyingly adjusted the cloth I had on, looking at myself in the mirror. 'I think I like this' I thought turning around admiring the cloth. The white skirt, even though it contrasted greatly with my skin colour, complimented it as well.&

Take Me Home
Riele's POVOnce I got home, I was so tired. 'Ella sure can tire someone out, especially when it comes to shopping. I'm surprised I'm still alive after all that' I thought, shaking my head while smiling lightly. It was stressful but worth it. I took off my shoes then went up to my room to place them on the shoe rack next to the door. I dropped all the shopping bags I had on my bed. "I'll arrange these first before taking a shower or should I eat first, then shower or... Argh!" I growled. "Look at me talking to myself. Just shut up! Don't reply yourself! Argh!" I hit my head forgetting to use my other hand without my phone in it. A stinging pain started to form. "Why is my life like this?" I cry out.

Control
Riele's POVI woke up the next day to the sound of my annoying alarm clock ringing violently in my ears. It was officially 6 am. I covered myself with the duvet in frustration but the sound was consistent and disturbing, so I got up and backhanded it. But the deed had been done. I yawned, stretching my limbs. I went into my closet and came out with my jogging outfit in my hands.  I stripped my clothes off before entering the toilet then emptied my bladder. I got my brush and paste then began to brush my teeth. Once done, I washed my body and came out of the toilet with my bathrobe on. I put on a green sports bra with matching leggings, grabbed my phone, turned it on and took out my earbuds. I got out of the house, locked it and tucked the keys in my pocke

Fired
Riele's POVI was just about done with the paperwork for today. I stopped to rub my eyes. 'I need coffee', I thought as I dialled my secretary's office number on the telephone. She picked up almost instantly "Yes Ma'am?" she replied almost instantly, making me titter.  "Can I get a cup of coffee please?" I tried to hide the sound of exhaustion from my voice but failed miserably. Looking at one of the many paintings hanging on the white painted walls, I couldn't help but admire it the more. It was a painting of a cat, one that I had found when I was on my way to shop for some supplies. I didn't know why I chose it out of other paintings there, but I guess

The Proposal
Riele's POVI was finally done for the day. I arranged my table as usual before packing all my belongings into my handbag then got up and headed for the door that was on the other side of the room. Once I was sure I had left nothing, I went out the door, locking it behind me. Stephanie was still in her seat working. Her eyes were practically glued to the computer. She was so focused that she didn't notice me getting out of the office neither did she even acknowledge my presence when I stood in front of her. "Stephanie!" I called, waving my hand in front of her face. It was then she peeled her eyes slowly away from the computer "Hi Riele." Her voice was groggy. It was then I noticed bags under her e

Unexpected
Riele's POVI woke up that morning with the sound of an alarm. Without much to do, I got prepared for my morning jog. I didn't feel like having breakfast like usual, so I put on a black crop top and white sweat pants with a pair of black sneakers. I went for my early morning run with *Memories by Maroon5* playing on my phone. After about 30 minutes, I headed back home. I took a quick shower then wore a white blouse and slightly ripped jeans folded at the end with a white blazer and a beige bag. I drove to work that morning knowing that I broke about a dozen road laws but who cares? Definitely not me. I was surprised to see Lizzy dressed in a white and black striped blouse with long sleeves and a high waist denim mini skirt, ready for work.

Date
Riele's POV"Miami, next Sunday?" I asked again, just to be sure. They nodded. I have to go, for Dad. "I'll go" I said. "You will?" they asked, surprised. I nodded. "What about your company?" They asked in sync. I shrugged. "They can handle things themselves" I looked down at the ticket in my hand before realising that there was more. "It's three, why?" I asked. "Well, he thought you might like it if some of your friends could come as well" Karla said. "They'd like that" I agreed. 'Ella especially. God knows no parties better than her.'

Shopping Disaster
Riele's POVI opened my mouth in awe as I stared at the building in front of me. 'Nice, plain and simple. I love it' my thoughts ran wild while I admired the place. On getting in, I noticed that the place was not buzzing with people as I had expected. Jayden led me to a table and pulled out a chair for me "Thank you" I said before taking a seat. Just as he took a seat opposite mine, a woman around her mid-fifties came up to us with an apron wrapped around her waist. "What would you like?" The woman asked with a smile drawn on her wrinkled face. Her green eyes twinkled in fascination, and I felt drawn to her
