Riele's POV

"Miami, next Sunday?" I asked again, just to be sure. They nodded. I have to go, for Dad. "I'll go" I said.

"You will?" they asked, surprised. I nodded. "What about your company?" They asked in sync.

I shrugged. "They can handle things themselves" I looked down at the ticket in my hand before realising that there was more. "It's three, why?" I asked.

"Well, he thought you might like it if some of your friends could come as well" Karla said.

"They'd like that" I agreed. 'Ella especially. God knows no parties better than her.' 

"OK. Now tell us what has been happening in your life" Karla asked as we all took our seats. I blushed before sighing.

After telling them all that happened, she spoke up. "Wow! My sister has a boyfriend. That is so nice; I can't wait to meet him" she said while wiping off her fake tears. I rolled my eyes.

"He is not" I argued before Avery voiced out her thoughts.

"As for me, I'm not too keen on meeting this guy but be careful" Avery said, concerned. She had always been the odd one out of her group of friends. Although I do appreciate her concern for most things, it could be a little over the top at times.

"I will" I assured.

"Nonsense, I don't think anything is wrong with the guy" Karla argued while glaring at Avery. I poked the side of my cheek with my tongue. 

I tried to change the subject. "Will Mom be there at the party?" I asked her hesitantly.

"I'm not sure. Dad did send her an invitation with her tickets, but she never replied. We're not sure if she's coming" Karla said. I nodded

I glanced down at my wristwatch. It read 2:39 pm. "Wow, you guys have been here for quite a while" I said.

"You're right. Let's go Karl. We have somewhere to be. Remember?" Avery said, winking at her. I gave them both 'the look', making them blushed slightly.

"Alright. Bye sis" Karla said, getting up from her seat along with Avery.

"Bye Riele" Avery said.

"Bye" I said, waving at them as they went out the door.

Once I was done for the day. I left the office, down the elevator and into the reception. "Hey Liz" I said.

"Hi Riele" she replied.

"Are you ready to go?" I asked her.

"No, not really" she said.

"Oh ok" I said. "Oh before I forget. My dad got me tickets and told me to give you and Ella. They are tickets to Miami-" I was cut off.

"MIAMI" Liz screamed.

"Yes" I said, laughing.

"What's the occasion?" she said as I handed her the ticket.

"Grace, his second child, is celebrating her birthday next week Sunday, you know two days from now" I explain. 

"WHAT! 2 DAYS. THAT'S LESS THAN ENOUGH TIME" She screamed.

"I know right. I just heard about it like you" I said.

"Imagine what Ella would do if she heard about this" Lizzy thought, fear flashing through her eyes in a second.

"I know. She'll totally flip" I cringed at the thought of that. "We'll pack our things tomorrow, after work of course" I said. She nodded. "I'll text Ella tonight to inform her" I said.

"Alright, good night" she greeted.

"Night" I replied before leaving the reception and into the parking lot. I got in my car then drove home.

After a warm shower, I wore a pink gown with a cherry printed on it. I made meatloaf for dinner, then got my phone and texted Jayden.

Me: Hi

Jay: Hey

Me: I'm free tomorrow, you can buy me breakfast then. I'll be free in the morning till noon. Sounds good?

Jay: Yeah, I'm cool with that.

Me: OK, so how do we meet up?

Jay: Meet me in front of the shop you came to last time at the mall, where we met.

Me: Aiit. Gn

Jay: Gn

I decided on video chatting with Lizzy and Ella to make things easier for me. I placed my plate in the dishwasher along with some other dirty dishes. I went up to my room to make the call after locking the doors.

I called them simultaneously. It was ringing for a while until they picked it up.

R: Hey guys

E&L: Hi

R: Liz, are you still at work?

L: No, I just got home

E: OK, why did you call Riele?

R: OK! Don't scream, but you are going to Miami.

E: MIAMI! Why? When? How?

L: Relax! Let her speak

R: My dad is hosting a birthday party for Grace in Miami, so he got me three tickets and told me to give two of my friends I would like to come, and I gave you and Liz. Well, yours is still with me.

E: Wow! OK. When's the party?

L: Two days from now

E: TWO DAYS?!!!!!!

R: Yes. Therefore you, Liz and I are going shopping by 12:30 pm tomorrow. So are we cool for tomorrow?

E&L: Totally

R: Also Jayden, the guy I met at the mall, asked me on a date. Well, something like that.

E&L: OMG! Spill

Then I told them everything.

I ended the call with a good night to both of them. I then plugged my phone into the charger. I got on the bed before covering myself with the duvet, then slept.

I woke up the next day. I took my bath, then went for my morning run. I came back after 30 minutes and took a quick shower then wore a green blouse and white jeans with a Gucci belt.

     

I drove to the shop where I met Jayden. There he was attending to a customer. He wore a blue and white shirt which was accompanied by his blue-ripped jeans. The hat he wore made him look hot and, at the same time, a gentleman.

I walked up to him. "Hey" I said, smiling.

"H- wow, hey Riele. You look really good" He said while licking his lips.

I blushed "Thank you".

"Are you ready?" He asked with his eyes roaming over my body.

"Yeah" I responded. 

"Alight... Stella, I'm going out. Can you cover up for me" He yelled.

"Whatever" the girl, I assumed was Stella, came out from the back. 

"Let's go" He said, now facing me.

"OK, but where?" I asked, following him out of the shop to his car.

"Let me worry about that. Relax!" He said, holding the door out for me. I smiled politely before entering. He closed the door, then went around the car to the other side, getting in the driver's seat.

He started up the engine and began driving. "Can I?" I asked, gesturing to the car's radio.

"Alright" he nodded before going back to concentrating on the road. I connected my phone to the car's BlueTooth then played *Sunflower by Post Malone*. I looked out the window, enjoying the view.

"We're here" Jayden announced after a few minutes. I got out of the car and I could almost feel my eyes popping out of their sockets, as I stared at what was in front of me.
