Magnus' POV
I am sitting in front of the four people I trust the most, wearing my decent suit. Jill holds the cigarette that he's been puffing on since earlier, visibly calming himself down. I can tell he's nervous.
Beside him, Jeb checks the time on his own mobile phone. It's almost thirty minutes past our scheduled meeting time, and Jay is still not here. They all know we have a meeting today.
Lastly, June stares at me seriously, trying to gauge any intentions I might have towards them.
I clench my jaw and control my breathing to remain calm. I want to get explanations from all of them. The services in my industry are failing, and I suspect one of them is trying to provoke me. He's the mole within my company.
"Where's Jay?" I glance at my watch.
"He's coming," Jeb replies curtly.
"It's been thirty minutes," I remark, reaching for the folders on my desk.
"Maybe we can start now," I say softly, looking at each of them in turn.
"Why are we here?" June asks.
I cleared my throat and handed them the reports on the shipment costs, production expenses, and the shortage of seven million dollars, which I confirmed exceeded the normal monthly expenditure.
"We are short of seven million dollars, can any of you explain this?" I firmly clasp my fingers together, my blank face showing determination.
The three of them fall silent, clearly unaware of what I'm talking about.
"We don't know," Jeb ventures.
"Then who withdrew that money?" I glare at both of them.
"You know we can't withdraw without your signature, Magnus. Only Jay has your signature mark," Jill says. It’s obvious he wants to point out that the fault lies with me.
"So, you're not responsible for it?! Then who is?" I demand.
"Jay is." They almost simultaneously answer.
Just then, we hear the door opening, and we all turn to see Jay entering. He looks formal and expressionless, holding an envelope as if it were proof to our questions.
"Here," Jay said, clearly wanting to defend himself.
"That's the files for all withdrawals. If there are any discrepancies, those are the ones I handed out as SOP to the pirates who burned down one of our piers in London. If you want an incident report, I asked Jeb to do it. Where's Jeb?" Jay turned to Jeb.
Jeb grimaced and handed over the pictures of the alleged fire.
"I already e-mailed you, Magnus," he firmly replied.
I let out a sigh and spoke up.
"Jay, please sit. I have something to say."
Once he sat down, I immediately opened my intention.
"What are these for, Magnus?" Jay interjected.
"I want to ask about the mole. I've already hired an investigator to look into one of you. If you want to regain my trust, please divulge any information you have. I don't want to have to dirty my hands with more blood," I said to them, forcing a smile.
"I don't want a traitor in my office."
No one spoke up. In fact, I couldn't pinpoint who it could be, as all of them grew up together, and accusing was not something I wanted to do.
"Look, Magnus. Are you suspecting us?" Jay asked.
"I don't mean to point fingers, but my company is struggling, and Joe's death has led me to this. I know there is still a traitor here, and I'm sorry for Joe. Do you understand my position?" I sighed to myself.
"Maybe you need to take a breath, Magnus. You should go on vacation, you're too tense." Jeb spoke up, handing me a paper. No, it's a ticket.
"What's this?"
"A ticket for the Philippines...for two." I furrowed my brow.
"Two?"
"Of course, don't you still have something to handle with Vanna?" Jay remarked.
Oh yes!
I almost forgot that I should bring her to the Philippines, to get to know her better, to be more mindful of her parents' intentions.
"Alright, I get it." I cleared my throat and set my hand down on the desk.
"I guess, my questions have been answered," I said to them.
"Well, I guess, the meeting is adjourned," Jill was the first to stand up.
"Wait." I called out to her. She seemed surprised.
"Tell me, Jill. Are you gambling again?" I noticed she looked tense earlier while smoking a cigarette.
"No, Magnus." She smiled.
"Come on, bro. Please stay calm," Jay intervened as I realized I was unknowingly glaring at Jill.
I quickly apologized, and Jill left.
As we were left alone, my suspicion towards Jill grew stronger. "Tell me, is Jill back to gambling?" I faced Jay who just raised both his hands.
"I'm out of here, Magnus. I don't want to talk." Jay shook his head.
I turned to Jeb.
"I saw him sell his car; he's now commuting." That's all Jeb said before standing up and bidding farewell.
I don't know what's happening to us. This is not how I knew them.
Jay remained in front of me, handing me a stick of cigarette. Once in my mouth, he lit it for me and then for himself.
I took a puff and exhaled deeply, the smoke indicating my confusion, not just about the company, not just about my son's situation, my plans with Vanna, but also about the siblings I considered.
Don't think too much about everything, Magnus. I'll take care of it, just focus on Shaw, just focus on Vanna." Jay insisted, tapping my shoulder. After he spoke, I found myself alone in the four corners of that room.
I own this huge building yet I am alone thinking about everything, carrying it on my shoulders, planning alone, choosing the right path, and above all, forgetting that I also have myself to take care of.
In that particular corner, I saw myself. My beard was starting to grow on my face. I had even forgotten to work out and maintain my figure.
"Damn it, I really need to relax." I sighed.
I decided to go to a private massage spa. In the reception area, I saw a woman smiling at me seductively, flaunting herself. She had large breasts, a nice and firm body, good posture, and a natural Latina beauty.
"Hello sir, we offer different styles here. Just let us know what you'd like." She gazed at me with a suggestive look, eyeing my central heating point, the exact middle part of my groin. And it was starting to react.
"I need a Thai massage," I said, lowering my voice. Leaning on her desk, I winked at her.
"And I need an extra service," I added.
"Alright sir, how many services would you like?"
I widened my smile.
"I need three." As I said that, she bit her lip. It was clear she understood what I wanted.
I was immediately escorted by the staff to the VIP suite, where I was promptly taken care of. There was a beautiful hot tub deliberately adorned with jasmine petals. The room was filled with the fragrant and expensive perfume.
In the middle of it was a firm, comfortable loft where I could lie down. There was a white towel, a tray of liquids to try, and a body robe.
At that moment, I decided to undress first. I slowly made my way to the hot tub and submerged myself.
The feeling there was so relaxing. The scent was luxurious and the wine selection was well-organized. The glasses were ready to be filled, and I was pleased with it. If I were to rate their service, I would give it a perfect score because everything a person like me needs is there. It was truly very relaxing.
In the brief moment submerged in the hot tub, I poured myself a drink. The bittersweet-flavored drink added to the experience. I wished for more moments like this, as this feeling helped alleviate stress.
I finished a glass of wine. I glanced at the room. Still, the masseuse did not arrive.
"Where's the spa therapist?"
However, after a long minute of relaxation in the tub, I saw the door opening.
Three women in see-through dresses walked in. Their bodies were adorned with garments resembling their unique uniform, lingerie that complemented their sexy tanned skin.
"Room service, monsieur."
"Gladly."
They slowly approached me, each removing their garments.
My lips parted in astonishment as I gazed at the three Latinas.
I even stood up from the tub, naked. Their eyes widened at the sight of my weapon, ready for the encounter.
"Oh handsome!" exclaimed one of the women.
"I'm not sure if that will fit mine, it's very big!"
"Have mercy on us!" exclaimed one.
I grinned at their words, realizing it had been a while since I last engaged with club hostesses. I prioritize quality time for intimacy, enjoy it frequently, and engage in activities that make me feel empowered.
As they approached me, I was surrounded by their passionate and fiery kisses, exploring my neck, chest, and lower regions.
We stayed in the tub, the four of us, engaging in our activities, joyfully caressing each other's skin.
I simply lay there in that moment. I surrendered to them, letting them handle the massage. I took charge of the intense pleasure and passion.
As they began to take action, I also felt a sense of anticipation. I felt their touch on my shaft, tasting my large member. I closed my eyes in ecstasy, not realizing that I had grabbed their hair, urging them to deepen their mouths on my throbbing member.
"Fuck!" I exclaimed.
The lower part of my body feels weak because of the sensation I am experiencing.
I grab the woman with long hair, who has a perfect arch in her spine. I make her bend over and spank her on both sides. I don't care if water is dripping from her.
"Spank me more!" the woman shouts.
"Take this!" I repeatedly spank her, pressing my body against her back. The two women in front of me are kissing. They are making out. I widen my smile and command them.
"Lick yourselves!" I grin at them.
I am breathless as we indulge in the pleasures of the three. After the first, second, and third, they collapse on the floor as if they have no strength left.
I carry them one by one to the loft and lay them down side by side. I lay them all down, and then I give each of them an oral massage.
They are all almost exhausted from my play with their sins. They are almost losing consciousness. They sit weakly, wiping themselves.
I finish dressing and combing my hair. Knuckling my belt together, I zip up my pants.
I smile at them.
"The cash is on the table," I say, pointing to the bundled money.
The smiles of the three women widen.
"Thanks, handsome!"
I just wink in reply. But before I close the door, I speak again.
"You've done great. Keep my business card, call me if you need a massage." I wink again.
I see the three of them still giggling as I leave. Upon stepping out, I accidentally bump into someone.
I am surprised to see who it is.
"It's you," I point to Vanna.
"Are you stalking me, Magnus?"
I chuckled, caught off guard while rubbing my forehead.
"Uh, of course! I'm stalking my future wife, ensuring your safety." I tried to cover up.
Vanna raised her eyebrow and crossed her arms.
"Really?"
"Yes, absolutely." I insisted on my answer.
"Then why are you sweating now? Did you know that psychology says a person lying releases more carbon dioxide, causing increased bodily fluids, like sweat." She pointed to the side of my cheek.
"Wow, I mean...I just finished a massage here. And here we are, luckily coming across you." I grinned.
She just looked at me with a blank expression.
"Uh, where are you headed now? I can give you a ride."
"No thanks, Magnus. I can manage, and as you can see...this is our spa." She rolled her eyes.
I was speechless at her words, then I noticed the spa's name.
"5VS Spa!"
It represents Vanna, Vittos, Vlad, Vance, and Veil Shaw! Damn it!
"Did you enjoy it here?" Vanna added as we were about to leave the building. I didn't let it slide. I followed her to the parking lot and saw her heading towards her car.
"Hey! Vanna! Let's race!"
Vanna stopped as I said that and smiled. "Then, what's the prize?"
"You win, you get something from me. I win, I have a surprise for you!"
Her lips curved up.
"Deal." Vanna smiled and immediately started her car. Conveniently, my car was parked next to hers. Like her, I was also getting ready to take off.
In three...two...and one!
I pressed down on the pedal, gripping the wheel. My eyes were focused on the road, straight ahead for the first kilometer, and beyond...
We overtook the lined-up vehicles, carving a path through the city's busy streets.
I'm now tailing Vanna by a few meters. She's good, and skilled at turning and speeding. She's a racer on the track. I'm confused about how to keep up with her. The meter brought me closer, just three lengths away, and then I pulled up beside her with my window down.
I saw her focused solely on the road. She even raised her middle finger at me.
"Eat my dust!" she shouted at me, speeding towards the traffic light, the finish line of our race.
I widened my smile; she really doesn't accept defeat! I'm now impressed by her—actually, I'm starting to fall for Vanna even more.
When I saw Vanna win and park near the traffic light, I also pulled to the side. There were fifteen seconds left on the red light count before we could go. I glanced at Vanna. She was wearing black shades, covering her mouth as if she was sleepy.
"Is that all you got?" I heard from her. My smile widened.
"Meet me halfway, and I'll give you the prize." I said, handing over the envelope.
When we set off, we headed to the side of the road. She got there first, so when I pulled over, she leaned against my window and waited.
"Where's my prize!?" Vanna took off her shades and put them in her hair.
"Here," I grinned, handing her the envelope. She quickly took it and opened it.
"What's this?"
"Just look."
When she saw the ticket, her eyes widened. "Is this real?" she checked the back.
"Yes, it's a vacation trip."
"Wow!" I saw how happy her face was.
"No take-backs, okay?" she smiled at me.
"How about the price if you win?" it's still asking me. I just widen my smile and lean to the seat. Showcasing the other envelope in my left hand. "I also got mine."
Vanna's smile stopped then she looked alternately at her envelope and the envelope I was holding.
"Don't tell me, that you're coming with me?"
I laughed.
"Of course! I'm your future husband, right?"
"Arg! You tricked me!" Vanna said bitterly then tortured me.
"I enjoyed the race; I didn't think you were a better driver than me."
She seemed upset, so she just left me there and went back to her car. But, believing she's happy, I know she's happy with the ticket I gave...well, she didn't return it.
I just shook my head at Vanna. It's really cute when it's folded, its furrowed forehead adds beauty, and its blushing cheeks are red.
"My wife..." I said smirking.
Vanna's POVWe reported my dad to the police, and my brother Jay also cooperated to have him deported to the Philippines and sentenced to life imprisonment. At that moment, it became clear to me why Mama Catriona was so strict with me, why she was always following me around—she didn't want my real father to find us. She knew he had bad intentions towards us. She's been protecting us all along. Now, we were quietly making our way through the hospital. Mama Catriona said I needed to see my physician because she wanted to ensure that my children were okay. I had also sustained some bruises and a scrape on my arm.Magnus was by my side, worried about what had happened.I just held his hand and smiled. "I'll be fine. Don't worry."He gave a small smile in return.Mama took me to the hospital where Quil had also been taken. We found Austin and Mara there, along with a man who I guessed was Austin's brother, Quil's father. They took me to the emergency room for first aid. As we entered the r
Magnus' POVAfter chatting with Ace and Jinky, I return to the ground floor to check on Mara. I had been away for a few hours; Quil's operation might be over by now. As I descend, I immediately see Mara sitting in a plastic chair. Her head is resting against the wall, and her eyes are closed. She looks utterly exhausted. I sit next to her and gently drape my jacket over her.She stirs and smiles."Brother.""How's Quil?""The operating room still isn't open."Hearing that, I glance at my watch. It's past six in the evening. I estimate Quil's operation might not finish until around eight, so I decide to stand up and tell Mara I'll be stepping out briefly to buy some food."I'll buy some food; just stay here. Let's eat in the hallway.""Okay," she replies with a smile.I quickly head out to buy food from the nearby food court. The fast food brands are lined up, making it easy for me to choose. I go to a burger joint and orde
Magnus' POVI'm now calling Austin; I want to talk to his shameless brother. I need him as much as I need Quil to be okay. I want him to be there for his child's surgery. I want Quil to see that he is the father, to see that their family is whole, even though Mara didn't want to directly tell him the truth. The line connected immediately, and Austin spoke. "Yes, bro? What's up?" He had no idea what was happening."Hello, Austin, I need to talk to you...""Yes? What’s going on?""You have to know something.""What is it?""It's about your brother," I clenched my fist. I really wanted to punch that jerk."Aquil? Why?""I need him. I want you to give me his number; I want him to come here to Hawaii.""Is there a problem?""That brute got my twin sister pregnant six years ago; their child is already big, and my sister needs him here for the surgery. Tell him to face the responsibility he left behind, or I'll hold him accountable until the day he dies." I said this seriously. He was silent
Magnus' POVAfter visiting Mara, I transferred funds to her bank account for Quil's surgery. I also prepared a room where the mother and child could stay. Vanna agreed with my plans; in fact, she wanted company during her pregnancy because she was adjusting to her changing body. I'm thankful Mara is a nurse, as she’ll be able to assist Vanna.I also invested in a shop near a resort. It’s a farm one-stop shop where I will sell fresh vegetables that I harvest from our small piece of land.Vanna will give birth in just a few months. I am getting ready for what we will need and for the insurance for our triplets. It’s not easy to raise three children, especially considering all the expenses and planning for their future, including education. I don’t want to ask for even a single cent from Aunt Catriona. I want to support my family through my own hard work. Even if I have to start from scratch, I want the money I provide for my wife and family to come from legal sources."Hon, where are yo
Magnus' POVThe next day, I told Vanna that I would be stepping out for a bit; I needed to visit the hospital where Mara works. It's two hours away from where we live. It was past eight in the morning at that time. I held the steering wheel as I drove. In my left hand, I was holding her calling card. I was a bit excited, though my nerves were fraying. She has contact numbers, but I insisted it would be better to surprise her later. I picked out a bouquet of flowers as an apology.I couldn't wait at that moment.I had thoughts that maybe she would be furious and upset; after all, it wasn't a joke that we had been apart for almost three decades. When I reached the town, there was traffic, so I stayed in the car while waiting to move. It seemed there was a breakdown since a car was parked in the middle of the road. Many were irritated and honking at that car. When the flow finally resumed, I joined in.In just a few minutes, I would reach that exact hospital.I was driving fast because t
Vanna's POVBy that time, we were already in Magnus's car. I wasn’t expecting anything, but I had a feeling the group had a surprise for us. In fact, I was feeling mixed emotions, especially since I hadn’t told Magnus that we have three children. I was just looking at his reflection in the mirror above us. He was focused on driving, so I secretly smiled."I can see you," he said softly."You’re just fun to watch.""Is that so? You’re really teasing me." He smirked at me."You know what, I know you know what they're planning. Just spill it already..." I wanted him to reveal the secret. He shook his head. "I don’t know what they’re planning," Magnus admitted.I looked at him, trying to read his face. He seemed serious; he might not really know what was going on.A moment later, we arrived at the address given to us. Magnus got out first to open the door for me. When he opened it from the outside, he gently took my hand."Let’s go, hon.""Thanks.""After you," he said while holding my ha
