“Mr Williams!”

That voice had snapped my gaze to the figure hurrying towards us.

Eyes rushed with glee, hands waving on at us, the man hurried forward, his boots planting a print into the loose soil at each step he drew closer.

“A delight to have you here” He followed.

“I’m Jan” He had shot out a hand to Cameron, giving a handshake, and with his gaze soon shifting to mine, he gave a bow.

“A lovely wife you’ve got, Mr Williams” His voice was laced with a thick accent, blue eyes growing in size while he turned to the figure of Joseph still stood by his vehicle.

“Hope he didn’t wear you both out” Jan whispered, pulling closer to Cameron.

“The man is known for accompanying people with the tales of the downside to life which he has been in”

“Believe me, whatever he has done or said, he has said the same thing to the number of guests he has brought here”
