Chapter 20: Comfort Me

Jasper's POV:

Moving a little I slowly open my eyes to look around the dark, dingy room.

Looking up at the ceiling I let out a little sigh while moving to run my hand down my face only to find my movement a little restricted.

Looking down I see a dark grey blanket stretched across me causing me to ruffle my eyebrows.

'That wasn't there when I fell asleep' I thought to myself before lifting it.

Pulling it completely off of me I stand up while letting out a yawn, looking at the door there's a little yellow square that wasn't there before now plastered on it.

Squinting at it I move closer to the door so I can read it to find that it's from Lagertha, her neat handwriting filling the small square letting me know that their going to be on the roof so I could get some more sleep.

A small smile stretches on my face at her thought fullness untill the sound of laughter fills the air around me.
