My alarm goes off at five in the morning, making me groan. I shut it off and get ready. I decide to not wear anything fancy, just a simple tee shirt and jeans. I mind link my guards letting them know that I am going to teleport myself to the restaurant.

I pop myself into the kitchen, making Katherine jump.

“Sorry,” I giggle.

She laughs, giving me a hug and begins showing me how to take inventory and then putting in an order online of things we need.

“Here is the restaurant account info so you can sign in on your own and here are your set of keys.”

I help Katherine ensure that all tables are ready for the day. I refill the napkin dispensers, ensure each table has silverware, the salt and pepper shakers are full and set out syrup for the breakfast rush.
