MIRACLE POV
“ We are going to war tomorrow. ” Cain seems to want to make me go into shock by revealing this disastrous information in such a light tone.
If I didn’t know better, I would have thought that he doesn’t care about all of this at all judging from how relax he looks when a supposed catastrophe is approaching us at full speed.
I walk forward and lower myself on the bench beside him. A sigh escapes my lips, the silence weighing me down.
“ I didn’t know it will happen so soon.” I say truthfully. My gut feeling tells me that things are not going to work out tomorrow. I might sound pessimistic but this is the truth. One of those puppet hybrid creature can take on three of the average werewolves easily. This will be damaging.
“ It was supposed to happen. It doesn't matter if this war happens tomorrow or a week later.” Cain replies in the same nonchalant tone, irking me out.
