Chapter 23

The days flew by and no one had heard anything from Chris. He was last spotted in the territory of the Mid Hunters Pack where he created a scene and killed some of the pack guards.

Meanwhile, Cassandra and Jace were getting even closer. Natán finally accepted that Isabel was his mate and they marked each other. It was pretty obvious since the two of them had been in love with each other since they were kids. The school year was also slowly coming to an end and all the seniors were going to be in college soon.

“Morning everyone” Cassandra chirped as she walked into the kitchen.

“Well you look happy” Summer immediately noticed before sharing a la bise.

“Hey, is it me or like you've gotten extensions” Montana observed, touching Cassandra's hair.

“When did you get extensions, Cass?” Summer asked.

“I haven't” Cassandra answered, pulling away from Montana. “I think you two need to get your eyes checked.”

She grabbed an apple but before she could take a bite, Jace sneaked up to her and
