Katrina’s POV

He kept feeding me until the very last bite was gone. Sometimes he would take a spoonful for himself, sometimes he would turn the spoon toward me, waiting with that little smirk until I leaned in and accepted it. My cheeks felt hot the whole time, but I didn’t stop him. There was something so intimate about the way he held me in his lap and fed me like that, like I was something fragile and precious that belonged only to him.

When we finished the food, I leaned back slightly, resting against his chest. His hand didn’t leave my waist. Instead, his thumb kept tracing idle little circles against my side, making it impossible for me to think straight. He tilted his head closer, his silver eyes softening as they looked into mine. “So,” he said quietly, “how did the dress fitting go?”

My face instantly grew warm again. I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear before answering. “It… it went really well,” I murmured, trying not to sound too flustered. “I chose a dress alrea

Katrina’s POVThe garden had been transformed into something I’d only ever read about in fairytales. The sky was painted with streaks of orange, pink, and purple as the sun began to sink lower, giving everything a warm golden glow. Lanterns floated gently above, glowing like little stars that had come down to witness this moment. Strings of soft lights curled around tree branches, twinkling faintly. Rows of chairs were lined up neatly, filled with pack members dressed in their finest. Their eyes turned toward me, and I could feel the warmth of their smiles, their silent encouragement wrapping around me like a blanket. The aisle itself was covered in a trail of white petals, sparkling faintly as if the fading sunlight had kissed them with magic. Torches burned on either side, their flames flickering softly in the breeze. The air was filled with the scent of flowers, fresh grass, and a touch of woodsmoke, making the entire place smell alive and sacred. We paused at the very beginning of

Katrina’s POVLiam had wasted no time. Liam had called Ophelia, the designer, and begged her to bring another dress for me after the ruined one had been taken away. She was kind, sweet, and patient—always smiling whenever I had seen her before. When Liam explained what happened, her voice over the phone was full of shock and worry, but she promised she would bring another dress right away. Now I sat quietly in Liam and I’s room, trying to calm my racing heart. My hands kept fidgeting on my lap while Ariana stood behind me, running her fingers gently through my hair as she styled it. I could see her reflection in the mirror, her face serious as she concentrated. Every now and then, she would pause, tilt her head, and then smile like she had a new idea for how she wanted my hair to fall.“You’ll look stunning,” Ariana said softly, brushing a strand of my hair to the side. Her words gave me a little comfort, but deep down, my chest was still tight with nerves.A knock came at the door, s

  • Marked By Fate: The Alpha Who Loved Me   Chapter 138

Katrina’s POVSomewhere deep inside me, the faint tugging of my powers whispered again. I could feel it now in a clearer way, like my wolf was stretching, waiting to be noticed, ready to help me when I needed it most. It made my heart skip a beat, but also filled me with a strange comfort. I wasn’t alone—not ever. Not with Liam by my side, not with my powers inside me, and not with the wolf that had finally stirred awake.I carefully lifted the dress from the box, running my fingers along the hem and the bodice, imagining myself in it. I could almost feel the soft silk sliding over my skin, hugging me perfectly. I imagined walking into the ceremony, all eyes on me, feeling both nervous and proud. My heartbeat raced as excitement mingled with fear and anticipation. Tomorrow, everything would change. The day had been filled with small tasks, endless preparation, and a nervous anticipation that buzzed in my chest like electricity. Every sound seemed louder, every shadow sharper, every mo

Katrina’s POVLiam guided me back to the bedroom, and I sank into the soft sheets, feeling the warmth of the bed envelop me. He held me close, his arms around my waist, his chest pressed gently against mine. I could hear the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, deep and even, and it seeped into me, smoothing out the knots of tension in my chest. I rested my head against his shoulder and let my eyes close, letting sleep take me slowly, reluctantly, but thankfully. And then, I was somewhere else again. The forest from my dreams stretched before me, silent and still but full of that strange, calming energy. The air smelled of moss and damp earth, and the tall trees reached high into a sky painted with shades of pale blue and silver. I could see the woman with white hair standing in the distance, her back to me, and beside her, the white wolf with piercing eyes that seemed to glow faintly. My heart twisted painfully in my chest. I wanted to run to them, to touch her, to know who she really was

As we moved closer to the edge of the forest, my heart beat faster with every step. The shadows around us seemed to stretch and sway in the dim moonlight. My senses, still heightened from the events of the past days, picked up every tiny sound—the rustle of leaves, the soft crack of a twig underfoot, and the faint, rhythmic breathing of Liam beside me. I pressed my hand into his, feeling the warmth of his skin, letting it anchor me against the swirl of fear and anticipation in my chest. Then, emerging from the darkness of the trees, three men appeared. They moved with quiet purpose, like predators, yet their posture held respect, their eyes sharp and watchful. They stopped a few feet away and bowed slightly, an unspoken acknowledgment of Liam’s power.“Alpha Liam,” the tallest one said, his voice calm but firm, carrying a weight that made me pay attention instantly. “We have returned with the information you requested.”Liam’s silver eyes immediately fixed on them, scanning each one a

  • Marked By Fate: The Alpha Who Loved Me   Chapter 135

Katrina’s POVMy throat tightened, and I clutched Liam’s hand harder without even realizing it. The fear inside me was swelling, heavy and sharp, like a rock lodged in my chest. He slowed his steps for a moment, his silver eyes flicking down to me. His thumb brushed over the back of my hand in slow, careful circles, as though he wanted to rub away the tension shaking through me. It was such a small, gentle thing, but it calmed me. It reminded me that I wasn’t walking down this long hallway alone, even if the shadows pressing against the walls made me feel like the whole world was watching. We moved together, step by step, our footsteps quiet on the wooden floors. The walls of the pack house felt colder than usual, as if they were soaking up my fear. When we finally pushed the door open and stepped outside, the chill of the night air kissed my skin and made me shiver again. The moon hung high, glowing brightly, almost too bright for midnight. I tilted my head back for a second, swallow
