Dimitri sagged with relief and soon found himself in need of blood. The call was stronger than he wanted to admit. Normally, he wouldn’t have gone back inside, but he had to be sure the two women were alright. Once inside, he found Stacy was sleeping soundly in her room, Nix on the floor beside her. Willow came to his side and looked at the wound.
“That will burn for a week or more. Did you see who the person was?” Willow asked when she saw the wounds.
“I know it will, Ash wood is a bitch. Vampire for sure, but I am not sure who he was. Something about him, though.” Dimitri couldn’t recall where he had heard that voice.
“She has protections on the house; the only way a vampire can enter is if she invites them,” Willow explained

He is being a jackass about the whole thing. I didn’t say he had to stay at the house. Just that we needed him for Sage. Hell, we don’t even know if this is going to work.
