Chapter 25

Natalia:

I opened my eyes to find myself still sleeping in Damien’s arms. He slowly ran his finger over my bare shoulder, letting me know that he was awake, and I smiled raising myself to meet his eyes; my body drained of energy.

“Good morning” Damien said smiling. I smiled back and kissed him in response. Memories of the night before were still fresh in my mind, and how gentle he was only made me want to want him a whole lot more. I had to admit, my body was still sore because of it, but it was the kind of soreness that I would welcome with open arms. His cradling arms, the way he took things at my own pace despite needing to reach his own release.

“Morning” I whispered resting my forehead against his. Damien smiled and ran his fingers over my jawline, tucking a loose hair strand behind my ear. His smile not only reached his eyes, but his own heartbeat was calm, his wolf purring as a response.
