I'm really sorry guys there's an error in the novel. From Chapter 96 to 98 was an error I made a mistake i really apologise for it but I promise to rewrite and publish it tomorrow. And let me know what you think about the novel so far because this is the first time I am publishing a novel so I'm not professional enough but from your comments and rating I will know what I'm doing wrong and what I'm doing right and how to correct them. Once again I'm sorry for the error in the novel. Thank you

  • Marked by the Alpha King    Chapter 98

    The estate didn’t sleep.Not after that night.Guards doubled.Patrols tightened.Every shadow watched twice.And still—it didn’t feel like enough.Because the danger wasn’t outside anymore.Not completely.It was inside.Somewhere.Watching.Listening.Waiting.Kieran stood in the war room.Maps spread across the table.Marked.Crossed.Tracked.But none of it gave him what he needed.A name.A face.A traitor.His jaw tightened.“…They knew exactly where to strike.”One of the elders spoke quietly.“…That’s not coincidence.”Kieran didn’t respond.“…We should isolate him.”That made the room go still.Kieran’s head lifted slowly.His gaze sharp.Dangerous.“…Say that again.”The elder hesitated.But continued.“…If Eli is the target, then separating him reduces—”He didn’t finish.Kieran moved.Not violent—but close enough.Enough to make the warning clear.“…You don’t separate him from me.”Each word controlled.But edged.Deadly.Silence followed.No one argued.No one pushed.B

The air shifted the moment they stepped outside the estate walls. It was subtle.Almost unnoticeable. But not to Kieran. Not to Eli.Not to any of the wolves moving in silence around them. The forest wasn’t calm.It wasn’t alive in the usual way.It was… watching.Eli felt it immediately. That same feeling from before.Like something unseen was brushing against his skin.Like eyes—everywhere. He slowed slightly.Kieran noticed.Of course he did.His hand found Eli’s wrist without looking.Firm.Grounding.“Stay close.”Low.Controlled.But this time—Eli didn’t argue.Didn’t pull away.He just nodded once.“I know.”And that alone made something in Kieran ease. Not fully.Never fully. But enough. They moved deeper.Step by step.Quiet.Calculated.The guards spread out.Creating a perimeter. But still—it didn’t feel like enough.Because whatever they were looking for—wasn’t moving like normal enemies. It was patient.Too patient.Eli’s chest tightened slightly.“…Do you feel that?”

The change didn’t go unnoticed. Not by the pack. Not by the guards. And definitely not by Kieran’s family.Because for the first time since Eli arrived—Things felt… different. Not tense. Not fragile. But not fully settled either.Something in between.Something that made people watch more carefully.Whisper less.Wait.It was during dinner that it became obvious. The long table was filled—Kieran at the head as always.A few elders. Two of his cousins. And—His younger sister. She had returned only that morning.Unannounced.Unapologetic.And already—Watching everything.Including Eli.Closely.Too closely.Eli noticed.Of course he did.But he didn’t react.Didn’t shrink.Didn’t avoid her gaze.He simply—Met it.Calm.Steady.And that alone made her lips curve slightly.“…So this is him.”Her voice broke through the quiet.Light.But sharp underneath.Kieran didn’t look up from his plate.“…Careful.”One word.Flat.But enough. The room shifted immediately.Because everyone unders

They did not rush it.Not after everything. Not after finally finding something that didn’t feel like it would break if they touched it too hard.Eli kept his word.He stayed. But staying didn’t mean surrender. Not completely. Not yet.And Kieran—For once—Respected that. The change was subtle at first.Easy to miss if you didn’t know what to look for.Eli didn’t avoid Kieran anymore. He didn’t walk away when he entered a room.Didn’t pretend not to notice him.Didn’t act like his presence didn’t matter. He acknowledged him. That alone—Shifted everything. But there were still lines.Clear ones.Ones Eli hadn’t said out loud—But Kieran could feel. And that frustrated him more than anything. It happened that evening. The estate was quieter than usual. Most of the pack had been sent out—Investigating movements near the outer territories. The spy.Still out there.Still watching.Still waiting. And Kieran—He didn’t like it.Not when Eli was still recovering. Not when things between t

Morning did not undo what happened. It didn’t soften it.Didn’t blur it into something uncertain. If anything—It made it clearer.Sharper.Real.Eli woke slowly. Not from discomfort. Not from pain. But from awareness.Warmth.Solid.Present.His brows pulled slightly as his mind caught up with his body.He wasn’t alone. An arm rested firmly around his waist. Not loose. Not accidental.Possessive.Familiar.Eli’s breath hitched faintly.Because he remembered.Everything from last night.Every word.Every touch.Every choice. And now—This.Carefully—He turned his head.Kieran was still asleep.Or at least—He looked like he was.His face relaxed in a way Eli had never really seen before. No tension. No control. No restraint.Just… peace. And that alone made something in Eli’s chest tighten.Because it meant something.More than he expected.More than he was ready for.Eli’s gaze lingered longer than it should have.Taking in details he had only seen in flashes before. The sharp line
