The silence didn’t break.Not immediately.Not after something like that.Because truth—Real truth—It didn’t explode.It settled.Heavy.Deep.And it stayed there.Between them.Eli didn’t move.Not forward.Not back.Just… stood there.Breathing.Trying to sort through something that refused to be simple.His parents.His kingdom.The war.The betrayal.Kieran.All of it—Connected.And yet—Not complete.Not fully told.Because there was still something missing.He could feel it.In the way Kieran looked at him.In the way he spoke.In the things he didn’t say.“…There’s more.”Eli’s voice was quiet.Not accusing.Not emotional.Just certain.Kieran didn’t answer.Didn’t deny it either.And that—That was enough.Eli exhaled slowly.“…But you’re not ready to say it.”A pause.“…Or you think I’m not ready to hear it.”Kieran’s jaw tightened.Because both were true.And neither felt right anymore.“…I’m trying not to lose you.”The words came low.Honest.Unprotected.And Eli—He fe

I'm really sorry guys there's an error in the novel. From Chapter 96 to 98 was an error I made a mistake i really apologise for it but I promise to rewrite and publish it tomorrow. And let me know what you think about the novel so far because this is the first time I am publishing a novel so I'm not professional enough but from your comments and rating I will know what I'm doing wrong and what I'm doing right and how to correct them. Once again I'm sorry for the error in the novel. Thank you
The estate didn’t sleep.Not after that night.Guards doubled.Patrols tightened.Every shadow watched twice.And still—it didn’t feel like enough.Because the danger wasn’t outside anymore.Not completely.It was inside.Somewhere.Watching.Listening.Waiting.Kieran stood in the war room.Maps spread across the table.Marked.Crossed.Tracked.But none of it gave him what he needed.A name.A face.A traitor.His jaw tightened.“…They knew exactly where to strike.”One of the elders spoke quietly.“…That’s not coincidence.”Kieran didn’t respond.“…We should isolate him.”That made the room go still.Kieran’s head lifted slowly.His gaze sharp.Dangerous.“…Say that again.”The elder hesitated.But continued.“…If Eli is the target, then separating him reduces—”He didn’t finish.Kieran moved.Not violent—but close enough.Enough to make the warning clear.“…You don’t separate him from me.”Each word controlled.But edged.Deadly.Silence followed.No one argued.No one pushed.B
The air shifted the moment they stepped outside the estate walls. It was subtle.Almost unnoticeable. But not to Kieran. Not to Eli.Not to any of the wolves moving in silence around them. The forest wasn’t calm.It wasn’t alive in the usual way.It was… watching.Eli felt it immediately. That same feeling from before.Like something unseen was brushing against his skin.Like eyes—everywhere. He slowed slightly.Kieran noticed.Of course he did.His hand found Eli’s wrist without looking.Firm.Grounding.“Stay close.”Low.Controlled.But this time—Eli didn’t argue.Didn’t pull away.He just nodded once.“I know.”And that alone made something in Kieran ease. Not fully.Never fully. But enough. They moved deeper.Step by step.Quiet.Calculated.The guards spread out.Creating a perimeter. But still—it didn’t feel like enough.Because whatever they were looking for—wasn’t moving like normal enemies. It was patient.Too patient.Eli’s chest tightened slightly.“…Do you feel that?”
The change didn’t go unnoticed. Not by the pack. Not by the guards. And definitely not by Kieran’s family.Because for the first time since Eli arrived—Things felt… different. Not tense. Not fragile. But not fully settled either.Something in between.Something that made people watch more carefully.Whisper less.Wait.It was during dinner that it became obvious. The long table was filled—Kieran at the head as always.A few elders. Two of his cousins. And—His younger sister. She had returned only that morning.Unannounced.Unapologetic.And already—Watching everything.Including Eli.Closely.Too closely.Eli noticed.Of course he did.But he didn’t react.Didn’t shrink.Didn’t avoid her gaze.He simply—Met it.Calm.Steady.And that alone made her lips curve slightly.“…So this is him.”Her voice broke through the quiet.Light.But sharp underneath.Kieran didn’t look up from his plate.“…Careful.”One word.Flat.But enough. The room shifted immediately.Because everyone unders
