so I'm thinking that her mom was actually his mate and her stepmom gave him that potion that was quote unquote stolen from the priestess to break their bond so she could have him and I think she killed her mom.

Nice chapter. Looks like Layla’s mom was killed by what Lu was trying to say but was stopped by the slap. Wonder what all Layla will face during and after escaping the pack. Hope she is not making a mistake.
