“You pulled back from our mate. Again.” Kyle growled.

“I know what I'm doing.” I shot back at him, my voice cold as I lay back on the bed.

“Do you?” he said quietly.

“She's not ready yet, so be tame wolfie.” I shut him out. That earned a snarl from him as he trudged in.

I was not going to let Kyle make me act like a lovesick puppy. Never. Instead I'm going to make her want me, long for me, see me as the only man capable of loving her.
