Chapter Eleven

I found myself in an empty room with light everywhere, the whole place painted white reflecting the light and making it hard to see as my eyes were slow to adjust. I was trying to figure out how I got here when I heard someone crying. I looked around again and that was when I found a door, it was also white. I guessed that is why I didn't see it before. As I went closer to the door the crying grew louder. I opened it slowly only to find darkness. I opened the door wide allowing the light in the room to flood the dark place. There was a boy, no a man bent over crying like he was in pain.

" Hello," I called gently but there was no response.

" Hello," I called out again, this time louder. He raised his head only for me to see it was Adam.

"Adam" Just as I called his name the door was violently slammed by an imaginary force and I woke up, it took me a few seconds to realize it was a dream. It felt surreal. I looked at the time.
