Chapter 16- What will I do?

“Caspian, don’t you have plans to visit your wife?” the general asked his son who is chilling while sitting on the couch.

Caspian stops from playing on his phone and shifted his sight on his father, “visit her? We just saw each other yesterday,” he responded.

“I bet you don’t know what happened to your wife yesterday,” he wonders.

Caspian suddenly felt nervous by the statement of his father about his wife, he didn’t know why he feels concern for her even though he knows that he will never like her.

“What happened to her?” he can’t wait to know his father’s response.

“I heard from your in-laws that she fell on the ground while decorating the Christmas tree, aren’t you updating each other or even call?” his father’s doubt.

He can’t answer his father queries for he don’t really updates his wife in daily happening of his life and he don’t even know her number and don’t hope to talk to her.
