Rylan’s POV

He stepped closer, “Rylan, why are you here?” His stares were cold and filled with anger.

Then I recalled this was the way he looked at me when I was younger. Stares that were filled with bottled up anger and hatred.

But I didn’t answer, only stared at the excuse of a father I had.

His words were stuck behind a wall built from years of silence, abandonment, and wounds I no longer knew how to name.

It was so funny to me how I once wished he was alive. Right now I believe he was better off dead or disappeared from the surface of the earth.

Then I said to myself, “Rylan, you are 35 now. Not that little boy seeking for family.love. At 10 years old he turned his back and never returned only to hear he was dead. He doesn't deserve to be called your father.”

He stepped closer, squinting under the dim yellow porch light as if trying to confirm I wasn’t a ghost.

But I remained quiet, His expression hardened.

“So you’re still a deaf and dumb boy?” he snapped, bitterness rising

  • Marriage of Deceit   AIRPORT CHAOS

RYLAN POVI heard the sound of a bike and turned to see it. The low, aggressive growl of an engine slicing through the chaos outside the airport drew my attention instantly. People turned, guards stiffened and then she appeared.Nicky!! What does she want? I thought. She pulled up on her power bike like she owned the entire terminal, black helmet, leather jacket, fury written into every sharp movement. She drove past me with speed and almost locked me down. She didn’t even look at me as she dismounted. Her face was carved from stone. She was Cold, Dominating, and felt Dangerous. Two black cars screeched in behind her, guards spilling out in perfect formation. She ignored me completely, like I was invisible to her.One of her drivers rushed toward her, breathless. “Thank goodness you came by yourself with the bike. Traffic was insane, we had to reroute twice.”One of the guards took the bike from her quickly, then another lifted his laptop, fingers flying. “She’s still here,” he

NICKY POVI slammed my palm on the desk.“Are you out of your mind?” I snapped. “You brought them back into the company like nothing happened? Dad, I chased them and I have reasons. Why can't you listen?”My father, Alberto, stood by the window, his back to me, hands clasped behind him like a man who believed silence could still control a storm.Fiona sat comfortably on the sofa.Laden stood beside her.And Orla-Orla was crying. She was always crying like the clueless Victim.“She slapped me,” Orla sobbed, pressing her hand to her cheek. “Onika slapped me without fear… without even thinking of you, Uncle.”I turned sharply. “Don’t call me that, who are you to call me by my name?” I said coldly. “And don’t lie. You did bad…”Alberto finally turned. His eyes were tired, heavy with memories he refused to release.“Onika,” he said, using my real name the way he always did when he wanted authority. “You should try to be kind to Orla. Please Onika..”I laughed bitterly. “Kind? After everyth

  • Marriage of Deceit   OBSESSION

Rylan POVSilver’s front door opened with a sharp click.I didn’t move. I heard her humming like a bird as she walked in.I stayed exactly where I was- seated on the single couch in the center of the living room, one leg crossed over the other, my posture relaxed and deliberate. The house smelled faintly of jasmine and old lilies. The lights were on, every corner was visible. She stepped inside. The moment her eyes landed on me, the color drained from her face. For half a second, Silver froze. Then instinct took over. She turned to run.“Don’t,” I said calmly. She didn’t listen. She barely took two steps before the guard at the door stepped forward and blocked her path like a wall of steel. She crashed into him, breath leaving her lungs in a startled gasp.“Move!” she cried, clawing at his arm. “Get out of my way!”He didn’t budge.Behind her, the door shut.Slowly, I uncrossed my legs and stood. Her knees trembled as she turned back to face me.That was when she saw them.Lucian, her

  • Marriage of Deceit   MONSTERS

Silver raised the knife slowly.Aurora was still chained to the bed, wrists cuffed, her head lolling to the side, lashes fluttering as the struggle to pull her hands off the cuffs. Her breathing was shallow and uneven. She had no strength to fight, not yet.Silver’s hands trembled, but her eyes were steady. Cold and Burning with something far older than anger.“You see this knife. I kept it for you all this time. I bought it at an auction in London. Specifically for slitting your throat.”The blade glinted as she lifted it closer to her neck.Then….“STOP!”The door burst open, Dylan stormed in.Before Silver could react, he kicked her hard. The knife flew from her hand, skidding across the concrete floor with a sharp metallic screech.Silver spun around. “Why are you here? What are you doing?!” she screamed.Dylan didn’t answer. He crossed the room in two strides and grabbed her by the neck, slamming her against the wall. His fingers tightened mercilessly as he lifted her off the grou

Aurora POVDarkness lifted slowly, like a heavy curtain being dragged away from my eyes.My head throbbed. My body felt wrong, too still, too restricted. As awareness crept in, panic followed immediately. I tried to move my arms.Metal clinked, My breath hitched.I forced my eyes open and sucked in a sharp breath. I was lying on a large bed, draped in soft silk sheets the color of ivory. The room around me was beautiful, too beautiful for a prison. Crystal lamps glowed faintly on either side, casting warm light over cream-colored walls, gold-trimmed furniture, and a thick carpet that swallowed sound. But beauty didn’t erase the truth. My wrists were cuffed to the bedframe.Cold steel bit into my skin.“No… no, no,” I whispered, tugging instinctively. The cuffs didn’t budge. Panic surged through me, fast and violent. I pulled harder, my pulse racing, my chest tightening until breathing felt painful.I was locked in.I twisted my head, scanning the room wildly. The door was closed. No w

Rylan POVRed continues with a huge smile on her face. “My son is the new Director, and it was signed by Lucian Blackwood to bring my son in. My son signed this contract with a Chinese company for a whooping 3 billion.” Then the doors burst open again. A familiar silhouette stepped inside. And the room froze. Not only the room but also me, I had no idea what was happening. The room was already drowning in tension. At first, no one spoke. No one even breathed. The man that walked in, tall, broad-shouldered, dressed in a sharp black suit that screamed Blackwood authority. His steps were measured, confident, like he knew exactly where he belonged. The resemblance hit me like a fist to the chest. My heart skipped. The board members murmured in shock. Chairs scraped. Someone whispered, "Wasn't he Rylan's PA? How did he become Red's son? What is going on?”I stood abruptly. “Red,” I said, my voice rough, unfamiliar even to myself. “What are you saying?”As I spoke for the time to the boar
