I slammed my fist on the wall beside me. My lips trembled. I was so frustrated and even more scared.

"Are you sure that Charles was captured?"i asked again,i am sure that this is the umpteenth time i asked him.

My personal guard replied."I'm really sure,Boss Xander.Scott captured him and his family,i hope Charles didn't leak any information about us."

"He dare not."i barked."Just get out of this place,i am gonna call you later."

I knew that i was just deceiving myself. I'm sure that if that monster Ryder Colton tortured him well,he is gonna tell him every information he needed about us. And f**k,i didn't want that to happen.I can't imagine what would happen to me if Charles mistakenly leaked any information about us. 

"You are a chicken.Are you scared of Ryder Colton?"my subconscious asked me.

No! I'm not scared of him.Why should i be scared of that son of a bitch? Why should i be scared of that little boy that got lucky and become a mafia King just because of his father's affluence? Why should i be scared of that arrogant dickhead?

I'm even proud of what i have done. I'm proud of using Charles to get all information about him. I'm proud of killing his most trusted body guard. I'm proud of destroying some of his properties. I'm a fulfilled man. I'm sure that in a few months,i would be the new Mafia King. I won't give up until i kill him. I must be the one to end Ryder Colton.

But then,the same negative feeling came over me. I just hope Charles didn't reveal my hideout or else,all my hopes would be dashed. I must move out of this hideout as soon as possible. But then,that mother fucking pimp gat his eyes all over the world,he is gonna fish me out by all means. The better solution for me is to get rid of him else i am gonna spend all my lice lurking from him.

"He is around now. The devil wants to meet you."he smirked at me.

I swallowed a gulp down my throat.I felt a bit nervous.Scott's words keep coming to my head :'By the way,when you meets Ryder,don't talk rudely to him else you wanna lose your life.'

Is Ryder gonna kill me? Who is he? What the hell is happening? He seems kinda dangerous,from what Scott said about him. 

We didn't pass the route we passed earlier while coming to the sex workers's apartment.Rather,we passed another route,we got to the elevator.

The man pressed the button and the elevator went up quickly. I continuously nibbled on my bottom lip,anxiety eclipsed my thoughts. I wondered what would happen to my parents. 

Sweet father,what have you done? I sincerely wished that he is not guilty of what Scott said.

"Hey,do you wanna sleep in the elevator?"the man's voice jerked me out of my thoughts.

I stepped out of the elevator,we got to the last floor in the building. First of all,we came across a lady and the man who brought me here whispered into her ears. The lady looked at me scornfully and hissed,i couldn't fathom the reason behind her action. She battled her long eyelashes continuously and glared at me.

"Sapphire,don't make the hatred too obvious. You're scaring the fuck out of the baby doll."He cackled.

Sapphire scoffed."I can't help it,Ronald. I can't still believe that this doll is Charles's daughter."

"The king is waiting,just take her to him."Ronald murmured.

Sapphire hissed and grabbed my wrist.Her grip on my wrist was so tight and it was affecting me but i couldn't protest. She seems to have taken a hatred to me already. 

We got to the last floor in the building,it was so beautiful.Despite my fears and worries,i still muttered 'Wow'.

Sapphire shook with mocking laughter."You ought to start saying your last prayers,baby doll.I don't even know the reason he wants you in his room instead of a dungeon meant for people like you."

"His room?"I froze,my eyes wide opened.

Sapphire didn't reply,instead she hissed. We reached a room with a beautiful door. Two hefty men were guiding the door,they had a stern look on their face.

"Is he in?"Sapphire asked them.

One of the men replied."He had been expecting you. She's the girl?"

Sapphire nodded her head in affirmative."She's the daughter of that betrayal."

His eyes blazed with rage. He even looked more scary doing that. I wondered the gravity of what dad had done that made all of them kinda hate me.

They made way for us and Sapphire pushed the door.My heart pounded as the door creaked open revealing a beautiful room.I was so lost in the beauty of the room until Sapphire's voice jolted me out of my thoughts.

"She's here,Boss Ryder."she bowed down her head.

I followed her gaze and my eyes met with a golden amber eyes which seems like there's a world war going on in them.The eyes was so cold and had a blank expression.

"You can leave,Sapphire."he gruffed,his eyes never left mine. Sapphire obeyed his order.

He held my gaze with his blazing amber eyes that screamed danger.Fear choked me and gripped my throat. His cold eyes pierce into my skin,my heart couldn't stop beating fast.

He started walking towards me,each steps he took made my heart beat even more faster.My eyes roamed to other parts of his body,his height is very intimidating.Why is he so intimidating? 

He is now closer to me,i took my steps backward until my back hit a hard surface which should be a wall.

He then stopped walking,he crossed his arms around his chest.That is when i noticed that he is topless,I couldn't help but noticed his well toned body and how perfect his chest was.

Just then,a cold husky voice jerked me out of my thoughts."Come here."

That fear rushed to me all over again.Fear crept up my spine.

"Is he referring to me?"i asked myself.

"You deaf?"he questioned,his voice sounding even more colder.
