"Th..ey a.re her..e."he stammered with his eyes widened.

I was puzzled."Who are those people?"

Mother whimpered,her voice was unsteady."Your dad is gonna get us killed."

I turned to my father.He cringed with fear."Go and hide, Allison."

I scoffed."I won't hide or do anything until you tell me what's going on."

"This's not the time to act stubborn, girl."Dad barked and gripped my hands pulling me to the storeroom in the living room.

He closed the door. I was mortified. I could catch a glimpse of what is happening in the living room.All thanks to Dad forgetting to shut the door completely due to his restlessness.

I panicked when i heard the sound of people banging our door. But,who are those people? I'm sure Father knew them because of the look on his face when those cars entered our compound.Also, what i was so certain about is that those people are no good.They looked suspicious, especially with there all-black costume, they're kinda similar to those cruel villians from my favourite superhero movies.

All of a sudden,i heard a hoarse voice."Charles, open the door now or else i'm gonna blast this house."

Terror streaked through me. This time around,i truly realized that those men were really dangerous.No wonder, Dad was disturbed. Mother slumped behind the cushion,fear were visible in her cocoa brown eyes. I watched as Dad slowly opened the door,his fingers were trembling. As soon as he opened the door,those scary looking men trooped in.A particular man hit the gun handle on my father'shead. My mouth opened in a silent scream but couldn't produce any word,my mouth went dry. My poor father fell heavily on the floor groaning in pain.

"Bloody betrayal."The man hissed.

His eyes glanced around our house. He nodded his head and the corners of his mouth curved into a smile. Mother sobbed and that got his attention,his eyes trailed all over the house and finally landed on Mom's.

"Wow,Charles. You really has a nice taste.Nice house,Nice cars,Nice wife…….."He grinned from ear to ear."Seeing you right now,i felt like strangling you to death."

My heart began beating faster as if they wanna pop out of my chest, fear trickled down my spine. Those men are really dangerous. What business did Dad have with those creepy men?

Father finally regained his composure.He sat up caressing his head. I felt pity for him.

Mother sobbed."Please,spare our life."

What Mother said was not amusing,but the man who hit the gun handle on father's head started laughing so hard,tears almost dropping from his eyes.

He turned to Father."You heard what your wife said.Seems like she didn't know anything about you or us."

"What are you talking about, Scott?"Dad groaned.

My eyes widened as the so called Scott slapped Father so hard that it gat him rolling on the floor. Mother rushed to his side,she began to sob and tears flowed from his eyes.

"Gag her."Scott turned to his men and snapped his fingers.

As if on a cue,one of those scary looking man brought out a rope and tied mother's wrist with it. Then,blocked her mouth inorder to restrain her from talking.

Scott knelt beside Father, his arms crossed over his chest."Why the hell did you betrayed him? He gave you everything you wants,he really trusted you. Why're you so ungrateful? What else did you want from him?"

"I di…dn't bet…r…ray him. I d…ar…e no..t."Dad stuttered.

That gave him away. I was supposed to be scared right now but i was rather mad at Father. Dad is surely guilty of what that evil Scott was saying. Our family was so perfect,we never hide things from one another. I'm certain that my Dad still remembers the day i had my first kiss or the day i had my first menstrual period. But,why the hell did he hides this from us? What business did he had with those evil men? 

So many questions were left unanswered in my brain.

Scott hit his fist on the table making me flinched.He glared at Father."You're a chronic liar, Charles. So, you thought we won't know that you are the mastermind behind what happened to us."

Dad shrieked."I didn't do anything, Scott. Please trust me."

"Stop lying,d***khead."He barked."I have just one question for you. Where is Xander's hideout?"

"I don't k.……"

Dad was about to mutter when Scott gave him a punch on his cheek making him spit out blood. I almost screamed, this evil man is gonna kill my father. Although,i disliked my father for not telling us anything about those men but,i still love him. A single tear rolled down my cheek.

"I'm not done with you,liar."Scott grabbed father's collar and was about to punch him again when i rushed to the living room and held Scott's hand,tears streamed down my face.

Father groaned."Allison,why can't you just listen to me?"

I sobbed,tears still flowing from my eyes."This man is gonna kill you, Dad."

Scott clapped his hands with a bewildered look on his face. An evil smile was plastered on his face."A new twist in the story. So, you have a beautiful daughter."

"She's just a kid."Father whispered.

"Ryder is gonna hear of this. I am sure he will be pleased."He shoved his head into his pocket and brought out his cell phone.

This man is frustrating the hell out of me. I fucking really hate repeating myself. Why can't he just get the clue? I am not ready to sell any of my casinos.He should get the hell out of my sight,his offers are really annoying.

Williams puffed away on his pipe,an annoying smirk on his face."Just sell the casino to me. Five million should be enough for the damn casino."

I crossed my arms beneath my chest and scoffed."You know that i can buy you and all your properties,right?"

He broke into laughter.He annoys me even more."You're really what people said about you, you are just so arrogant.What is your problem? I can even buy the casino from Xander even with a more cheaper price."

Xander???

I hate people mentioning his name and i even hate it more people compares me to that asshole. With my blood boiling in anger,i brought out by my pistol from my pocket and blasted Williams's head with it. His disgusting blood stained my right cheek,my personal bodyguard wiped it off with a handkerchief. I ran my hands through my hair.

"Do you know why i killed him?"i asked Derrick,my bodyguard still staring at Williams's head.I smiled with satisfaction, it's nice to kill assholes.

"He talks too much."Derrick replied.

"That is not the main reason."I grinned."The dickhead compared me to Xander."

"He is more than a dickhead."

A phone beeped interrupting our discussion.Derrick handled over the phone to me.

"Ryder, guess the piece of information i have for you."Scott said into the phone.

"Go straight to the point,man.I have a lot of things to do."

"Charles has a daughter."
