The journey to Fiona’s penthouse was a short one. By the time Liam arrived, it was ten minutes past eight and he hoped Fiona wasn’t going to go crazy on him. With the events going on in his company, he hoped she’d be a bit considerate.

But once again, he was wrong.

Immediately Liam swiped his key card to her apartment and got in, a vase was hurled at him, aiming for his head.

He was quick enough to move to the side, and the vase smashed into the door, shattering to pieces.

“You’re late,” Fiona said calmly, as if she had not just aimed to smash his skull.

Luckily, Liam was partly used to this already, “I’m sorry babe. My day was more hectic than I expected.”

“Of course. It was hectic because you spent your time cuddling with that bitch!”

“Watch your mouth, Fiona. You will not speak about Jane in that manner,” Liam warned.

He had tried to be calm and treat Fiona with the affection she deserved, but what she wasn’t going to do was speak about Jane. Liam had no idea why h

Rainwater continued to beat against the closed windows as the sounds of storm and rain filled the kitchen. Jane had a drink in one hand and her phone in the other, staring out the clouded window, lost in thought. Work that day had been hectic for Jane and she had come back home with hope to speak with Liam. Not just to fish information about the state of his company or the discussions she had overheard during their trip, but just to… speak with him. Jane had to admit, she was beginning to get used to having Liam around. Tonight, Liam wasn’t home. Perry had informed Jane about the message he left earlier.. It was now past midnight, but he still hadn’t returned. She had no idea what to make of it. Trying not to worry too much seemed futile because couldn’t help it. Unless… “Fiona,” Jane finally muttered. It made some sense now. Liam could be out there having a good time with his ‘girlfriend’, while she stayed home worried about him. “Silly me,” Jane let out a breathy chuc

It was already the next day. Jane scrambled around her room, trying to find her favourite flats. She had received a 6am panic call from Mark, which meant, their day was going to be busier than usual. Apparently, plans within the company has been leaked to the press and more scandals are coming. There seemed to be a rat among them and they’d been tasked to fish them out. Jane was going to speak with Liam about it, but for now, she needed to head to work and gather as many details as she could. After putting on her flats and straightening her suit jacket, Jane grabbed her bag and ran down the stairs—then paused. The smell of fresh bacon and eggs wafted through the air making her stomach grumble. ‘Liam’s making breakfast when his company is under media pressure?’ Jane thought. She decided she was going to confront Liam since he seemed not to care as much as his employees did. Jane walked into the kitchen, already prepared on what to say. But she paused again. It wasn’t just

  • Married To My Arrogant Boss   CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE:

Jane looked at Liam. This time, she really looked at him. His laugh made her smile so hard, her cheeks began to hurt. She had never seen Liam laugh so much. He looked so handsome, free and happy and it was oddly satisfying. She wasn’t even sure what she had said was that funny, but she wasn’t about to ruin this moment with Liam. Liam laughed to his heart's content, then wiped away a stray tear, “Yeah, he must be a really sexy, hot, handsome freak. I know guys like him,” he said with a smile. Jane raised a brow. It was rare to see Liam joke around like this with her. “Ehh, freak? Yes. Not sure about the rest tho,” she said with a shrug, playing along. Liam let out a deep chuckle before going back to his meal. They both ate in silence for a while, sneaking hidden glances at each other for reasons both didn’t know or understand. A few minutes later, Liam packed up the dishes while Jane cleaned the tables. They were done with dinner and exhaustion weighed on both of them as they

  • Married To My Arrogant Boss   CHAPTER TWETY FOUR:

The day passed quickly and Jane walked out of the building, her bags on her arm, still sulking. Ever since her encounter with Fiona, Jane had been feeling somewhat unhappy–mostly because Liam had heard the things she said and she hadn’t meant any of it. Yes, she was pissed, angry and jealous Fiona was right. Liam wasn’t hers and Jane knew she had to destroy whatever feelings she knew was growing for her fake husband. Letting out a sigh, she drove toward their home with one thing in mind; she was going to apologize. A few minutes later, Jane walked into Liam’s home and yet again, he was in the kitchen, preparing dinner. She’d never actually eaten a meal Liam made but it was impressive he knew how to cook. Liam made extravagant meals and she had never had the opportunity to praise him. It was admirable. Taking careful steps, she walked into the kitchen and Liam had his back to her, refusing to acknowledge her. “I… I got you some candies,” Jane spoke up, placing the box of sweet

  • Married To My Arrogant Boss   CHAPTER TWENTY THREE:

Liam stared at Jane, locking her in a gaze. Tension rose between them with Jane staring back at him as heat began to creep within her. She quickly snapped back, withdrawing her arm from his hold. “Are you stupid?” She asked, crossing her arms. Liam stared up at her with an incredulous look. “What?” “Exactly. I’m pretty sure you should’ve figured out in less than an hour of waiting that I wasn’t interested and wouldn’t come.” She replied harshly. “I don’t know Jane, maybe next time, send a note telling me to fuck myself. I’d have known not to try and be nice,” Liam said after letting out a harsh chuckle. “Maybe try being nice when it’s needed,” she retorted back before turning away. “I have to be on my way, Mr. West,” Jane said. Jane turned to take a step but was halted in her tracks, and this time, it wasn’t because of a hand on her arm. Instead, Liam had his arms wrapped around her waist as he hugged her from behind, making Jane pause in shock with wide eyes. She could sme
