Dexter opted against sitting in the front, just so he could have the opportunity to have a conversation with Romeo.

For all the years he had existed on Earth, he hadn't witnessed someone like Romeo before.

Romeo did to Dexter what no one had ever done to him before. And to think that Romeo and Dexter aren't even related at all.

Dexter kept staring at Romeo as tears dropped from his eyes. Those were tears of joy.

He had a thousand things to say to Romeo, but the problem was the approach.

The words suddenly became too heavy to emerge from his mouth.

“Hey, don't mention.

I did it for humanity,” Romeo uttered just before Dexter could express his heartfelt gratitude.

It was strange how Romeo could read Dexter's thoughts and figure out his next action.

“Who are you?

I need to meet your wife if you're married,” Dexter pleaded.

It became too obvious that he wanted to start a friendship with Romeo. He just didn't know the right way to ask.
