Another Day As An Inmate

After spending the last few hours inside the cell, Dexter was already regretting his past actions. He wanted to call Officer Lucas and apologize immediately. 

This was the moment Dexter wished he had some super powers. He wouldn't mind turning back the hands of time to avoid being arrested. 

That wasn't Dexter first time getting arrested but doing something wrong but somehow, the cell seemed different.

He wasn't entitled to the privilege from his previous stint because his Father wasn't involved. 

Trust officer Lucas to make life a living hell for Dexter. He secretly paid Dexter's cell mate to torture him to the point where he would wish for death instead.

"Are you ready to release the money to us now? Or you want us to apply more pressure? Look around you, no one will come to your aid even if you decide to scream your lungs out. So, do the right thing now." A hefty looking guy, who goes by the name Jaguar threatened Dexter. 

He is also the leader of the other cell mates. Convicted for murder, Jaguar was sentenced to life imprisonment. 

He was once leader of a dreadful robbery gang.

He has bebe on the police wanted list for years before he finally got arrested through the help of his mistress who sold him out to the cops. 

The rest of his gang members all lost their lives in a fierce gun battle with the cops. Fortunately for him, he was the only survivor. 

Despite his near death experience, he didn't slow down a bit in his wicked act. On his back are different scars from the different injuries sustained from street fight.

Jaguar was feared by all due to his past crime records. Most of the policemen accords him with respect and treats him differently from other prisoners.

Due to his terrifying nature, Jaguar is oftentimes paid by some cops to torture new prisoners. Too bad that Dexter fell a victim.

A lot has changed about Dexter ever since he got there. It would be difficult for a total stranger to believe that Dexter is the son of a mult-billionaire.

His once robust neck has suddenly become thin. He was losing so much weight by the second. Despite his cry for help, none of the cops showed up. They all acted like he doesn't even exist. 

"Since you are gonna be spending more time with us, here's one rule you must abide. You don't keep Jaguar waiting for too long if you wanna stay alive. You gotta answer his every needs," one of the prisoners yelled at Dexter.

Dexter was surrounded, outnumbered and ambushed. Even if the cell wasn't locked, he was never gonna escape the impeding torture that awaits him. 

His legs was Swollen, same as his eyes after the multiple beating he has endured. He could barley even speak fluently due to how exhausted he was.

"I rather die than let you have this money. Do you know who my Father is? When he shows up, y'all will be sorry. I advice that you apologize this minute," Dexter boasted. Not even his pathetic situation could stop him from ranting.

He held his pocket firmly to prevent the thugs from taking his money away. 

Sharing a telling look, they all laughed at Dexter and mimicked him. 

 "Just pray that your Father finds you alive because once I'm done with you, nothing will be left anymore," Jaguar threatened Dexter. 

Like a warlock, he sat down and ordered his boys to ransack Dexter's pocket. He also instructed them to punch Dexter in the face should he attempt to fight back. 

Upon hearing this, Dexter tossed off that ground and kept roaming around, trying to escape from the thugs.

After realizing that the plan wasn't working, he kept banging the gate of the cell to call for help. 

Most of the cops showed up immediately after they heard his cry. They went back immediately after they realized that it was Dexter. Some of them even went further to tip Jaguar to torture Dexter until he passes out. 

It now dawned on Dexter that the cops planned for that to happen. The thought of this made him weak. He couldn't fight back anymore and decided to give up 

"I am ready to give you everything I've got. People don't hurt me," Dexter pleaded, with his knees scrubbing the ground. He hasn't surrendered to anyone before, not even his Father.

Just when Dexter thought that all hope was lost, Officer Romeo showed up and forced everyone to a halt. 

"What the heck is going on here? I heard some noises from my office. Why have y'all decided to turn the place to w market place?" Romeo yelled at him.

It was only a matter of time before he starts aiming at their legs due to frustration. 

"Thank goodness you're here. Please, come save me. These people are trying to kill me," Dexter begged. He kept banging on the gate, pleading for Romeo to get him out. 

"Shut the fuck up," Romeo silenced Dexter with an upraised arm and he obeyed immediately unlike when he would argue until his vocal cords are destroyed.. 

"So you can be this calm? Damn! I never thought that this day was gonna come," Romeo made travesty of Dexter, hence dashing his hopes of ever being rescued 

"Why didn't you call for help when you were being tortured?" Romeo asked, as he showed interest in Dexter's situation again. 

"I did," Dexter quickly answered. 

"I did called for help and some policemen showed up. Rather than coming to my rescue, they walked away as though I never mattered," Dexter explained. He cried his eyes out untill he had no tears left again. 

Romeo sighed. 

 He placed his hands on the waistline and shook his head. He is one of the policemen that doesn't interfere in Jaguar's situation. 

However, with Dexter's case, he is ready to make an exception. He didn't think that Dexter was gonna last the next few minutes with Jaguar. Romeo fears that Something terrible might happen to Dexter if he decided to walk away.
