Sophie Pov

Landon and I walk inside the big hotel heading to the penthouse hand in hand. It looks like our new thing is to walk hand in hand. We entered the elevator quite tired.

"It's been a long day," I said, running my hand through my hair.

"Yeah, I just feel like collapsing on a soft bed and sleeping till thy kingdom comes" he said, putting 1 percent of his weight on me. I smiled as the elevator dinged. We both walked to the door, he put in his thumb and the door opened.

"I didn't know that was there" I said as we entered. My eyes widened looking at the people in front of me.

"What are you guys doing here?" Landon asked, irritation lacing his voice.

"Don't you dare you talk to me like that boy" the woman snapped. Landon bit his lips breathing out.

"What are you doing here mom?" He asked again with a nicer tone. Wow he calls her mom, nice. She rolled her eyes.

"I came to check up on Sophie," she said, looking at me. I looked at her shocked, me? She came to check on me?
