Sophie Pov

I hugged him. At first he didn't hug me back but he slowly wrap his arms around me, I rest my head on his shoulders, happy I was getting a fatherly love. I heard dad sniffing.

"I'm so sorry princess, I'm sorry for not being the best dad, I'm sorry for not supporting your dreams, I'm sorry for always neglecting you and I am sorry for not being the ideal dad, please forgive me" he said, crying. I hug him back, also silently crying.

"I forgive you dad" I said. He pulled back and used both of his hands to hold my head like he usually does when I was younger.

"Thank you so much princess, and I'm sorry about putting you in that situation. Like I said you have a choice to walk away" he said.

"Don't worry dad I'm going to do it" I said.

"Thank you so much Sophie" he said. I smiled.

"So do you know anything about my mother, like where she is?" I asked. He shook his head.

"After that night I never saw your mother again, I didn't search for her again because she knew how to hide well.
