Chapter 42: What The Heart Truly Feels
It has been a week since she came back to Madrid and after the emotional talk she and Alec had in the garden of the mansion, she never is at peace anymore. She continued her life in Madrid, came back to work in the restaurant, tried experimenting with the new recipe but she couldn't seem to concentrate on the job. Alec keeps on butting her mind and the last talk they had. Remembering what happened in the hacienda, how Alec had said his emotions. When she saw the regrets and desperation in his eyes, how he begs for a second chance. His guilt, anguish, and pain reflected his sad eyes. She couldn't seem to forget those emotions he showed her.
