Chapter 10: A Charming Smile

Lois stared at the gold ring wrapped around his finger. Felix watched his boss silently. He still couldn't understand why boss agreed to marry Veena. He tried hard to think of reasons and ended in a conclusion that involves his grandfather, Emmon Rossenov.

"Does Mrs. Rossenov know that you married her for securing your inheritance?" Felix nervously asked. 

Lois glared at him. "Didn't I tell you not to say a word about it? It doesn't matter if she knows or not. We are merely using each other for our own benefit." 

"I do believe she still has the right to know, boss." Felix insisted. 

"Even if I tell her she will leave." 

"Even if she finds out she might still leave." Felix prodded on.
