Maybe it’s all for the best if his attitude to me at work remains the same; people wouldn’t know we’re married.

At exactly 12:30pm; I rush to the coffee shop, Nek likes his coffee at exactly 12:45pm and he likes it hot. The coffee shop is just two minutes away from the office, the plan is to get the coffee and bagels and rush back to the office.

“Can I have two cups of coffee and 2 bagels” I barely make out in between breaths

“So the usual” the attendant says with a smile, as she goes to prepare my order.

Seeing how often I come here; it’d be unusual if my order wasn’t already noted down. "Thank you”, I grab my order and rush back to the office. Dashing back and forth between buildings must be one of the reasons I remained single while working with Nek- I'm sure I look crazy to others.
