At Henderson Mansion

Mary, Cannon’s mother entered Cannon’s room only to find no trace of Cannon there but only Elaine. She was sitting on the floor in the middle of the room and crying silently.

Elaine couldn't decide what to do or where to go now. It had been hours already Cannon left the room. And she could feel, he wasn’t coming back to her or something.

Elaine got out of her trance as a voice got into her hearing, “Get up.”

She tilted her head towards the voice and found Mary, standing by the door. She hesitantly got up and Mary spoke up again, “Let’s go now.”

Before Elaine could get asking her, she answered, “To Cannon’s place.”

Elaine was so out of it to understand her word and got standing in her place.

Mary looked back at her way and shot her a sinister look, “What are you waiting for? Follow me.”

Elaine got following her being caught up with her mental disarray.
