Elaine's POV

I don't really make assumptions about people. Judging someone is not my thing but still, I was judging Aiden. Did he do something with Cannon that day to make him behave like that? As in his sober self, Cannon never once looked at me that way except for pretense time.

He had stopped showing his resentment for me but the bitterness was still there in our relationship, I could feel. His word from earlier got ringing what he said so casually that day when I destroyed some part of his car.
