Cannon kept staring at Elaine as she uttered, "I don't want to live Evana's dream life but my simple one." her eyes were still on her plate.

Pausing for a moment, Elaine pleaded with glossy eyes, "Please?" as she turned to Cannon.

Cannon wasn’t expecting something like this from Elaine. At first he thought she wouldn’t even try to snatch the project from Evana nor he expected her to succeed even if she got trying for it.

But she really made it to his utter surprise and now the other companies were eager to get her signed with them.

His plan was getting fulfilled on its own. He thought the fame, priority and status, Elaine was getting, would make her compelled to go on with it wholeheartedly which was supposed to create be a rift between her and Evana for sure.
