Chapter 33

It was still dark outside when Elaine sleepily opened her eyes only to open them fully with a jerk noticing the unusual bed and different surroundings.

The memory of last night popped into her mind only to get her scared. She turned to her side and found Cannon sleeping peacefully.

She tried to get up and the blue bed cover removed, revealing her naked self. She immediately pulled up the bed cover to cover her and kept laying down.

Her movement disturbed Cannon's sleep and he turned to her side, still sleeping.

His hot breath fanning her face made her lightly shiver.

Elaine could feel it was too late to run away from her own feelings.

Yeah, I am not going to deny anymore what my heart wants, not going to run away from my own feelings. Elaine thought to herself. Mustering up some courage, she placed her palm on his cheek and whispered, "Cannon?"
