Sleep was not something he looked forward to these days especially with Lucian hunting him in his dreams, or more correctly his nightmares. Klara woke up feeling a bit disorientated. How and when she got into her bed, she couldn’t quite remember. I lay in bed with Lucian while watching the clouds outside the window. He was sleeping while I was trying to figure out what the clouds looked like.
