The night was cold, the empty road was empty due to the heavy rain. Damien drives while his dark hair covers his left eye and his long masculine fingers hold tight on his steering. The image of what he saw kept playing in his head as he drove as fast as he could to the address sent along with the video.
His girlfriend for two years, Beverly Wales, is a Hollywood actress and model, she featured in a lot of movies and also appeared in most magazines. They were supposed to hang out tonight as her movie premiere will be in two days but she didn’t show up or even text him. Damien wasn’t thinking, he just wanted to go there and make the actor who they are having a moment together at the moment feel what it means to touch what belong to Damien Vladimir. Immediately he took a sharp corner and accelerated, he heard a thud sound which made him step on his break immediately. He felt he hit something and this made him wonder what it might be, he looked around through his car window but the night was too dark and the rain was too heavy to see anything. He turned on his car engine again then he heard a louder thud sound which made him frown and immediately he opened his car door and stepping into the heavy rain, he saw a girl's lifeless body on top of his car with blood flowing with the rain from the top of his sports car. “Shit” Damien cursed carrying the girl immediately into the back of his car as he zoomed off to the nearest hospital. While driving in haste, his phone began to ring which he picked up immediately. “Track my phone and meet me at the location, I just hit someone.” He said and hung up for his assistant to sigh. Simon carried his coat and rushed out of his apartment to follow his boss's tracks. Inside the hospital, Damien rushed in carrying the unconscious girl he hit while her blood left traces on the floor. “I need a doctor immediately,” he said with authority making all the nurses at the counter rush towards him while two doctors brought a bed. He gently laid the girl on the bed before the doctor rushed her away to the emergency center. “Make sure she doesn’t die,” he said looking at his body. The nurses are around gasping at the tall man with striking features, his face looks cold but yet familiar. “He looks like Damien Vladimir, the CEO of the Vladimir empires” one of the nurses whispered. “Sir” A doctor walked towards Damien with a blanket. “We will need her information sir” the doctor quietly said while he cleared his throat as he didn’t know if it was the weather playing tricks on his throat or the man whose appearance was intimating. “I don’t know her,” he said for the doctor to clear his throat. “Boss” he heard a man call running towards them. “Deal with everything here,” Damien said and without collecting the blanket, he left the hospital for Simon to sigh before he awkwardly smiled at the doctor. “What happened?” He asked for the doctor to chuckle. “He brought in a girl involved in an accident, she’s in the theatre as we speak but we need her information,” he said for Simon to sigh. “After the surgery, I would like to see her so I can find out who she is and please send me the bills needed,” he said for the doctor to nod. At one of New York's Airbnb apartments, Damien's car stopped at the gate, he wanted to open his car door, but multiple notifications bumped into his phone. He opened it and multiple photos of Beverly and her supposed colleague after their heated night appeared. Damien closed his eyes and scoffed then he turned on his engine and drove back. Inside the Airbnb home, Beverly drank from her wine smiling at the man sitting at her front. His hands reached out to her blonde hair before he bent his head and kissed her again. “We.. mm.. we just finished a heated round Micheal,” she said laughing. “I want more. If you leave tomorrow, I won’t be able to touch you again as long as your scary boyfriend is around” he said for Beverly to chuckle. “Damien is a nice man. Well, he’s scary but he knows how to make a woman feel attached.” She said chuckling. “Is he better than me mm?” He asked spreading her legs. “Yeah,” she said giggling. “Are you sure?” He asked pushing himself into her. “Ah.. mmm hmm” she moan for Micheal to smile. “I guess not tonight. Tonight I’m better” he said and began to pounce in and out of her. Beverly's moans again filled the room along with the erotic sounds of flesh hitting flesh. Damien drove to his home, after freshening up, he sat in his study and then carried his phone, first, he would find the person who sent him the notification and know why, but he would do it alone. He opened his call log and called a number. “Director Clement, I’m withdrawing my investment from the new movie,” he said and hung up. His phone began to ring multiple times but no response he closed his eyes with a sly smile. It was midafternoon and the black car driving on a highway playing music. A little boy danced along with the song playing in the car while his mother sang along to the song as she drove, through her review mirror she saw the boy dancing nonstop as he giggled. “Damien, sit please baby.” the dark-haired woman said scolding her five-year-old son who kept dancing. “Is Dad going to meet us at grandpas?” His little voice asks for his mother to give him a sad smile. “Maybe, maybe not,” she said while tears began to pour and her son saw it through the review mirror. “Mommy, are you crying?” He asked for his mother to immediately clean her tears. “No honey. Why should I?” she said smiling when a notification bumped into her phone. As she drives, she opens the message only to see a photo of her husband and his secretary on the bed. Gladys breaks down in tears forgetting she’s on a wheel, she knew her instincts were right that’s why she sent a spy to confirm. Damien was curious so he moved towards his mother from behind when he saw what she was looking at but still, he didn’t understand why it made his mother cry. “Pompeo!!” The heavy sound of a trailer blew and before Gladys could focus back on the wheel, a heavy crashing sound was heard. “Mom!!” Little Damien screamed out loud Immediately Damien woke up from his nightmare as the sweat broke out of his body. He cleaned his face sitting up, Damien stood up walking towards his bathroom when his phone began to ring. He went to his bedside table and picked it up, opening his phone he saw three hundred and fifty-five missed calls from the movie company chairman, CEO, and director, his father, Beverly, his stepmother, and Mason. Damien dropped his phone and walked into his bathroom, stripping himself naked, he put on the shower, the warm running water running through his hair down his big drooping rose tattoo at his back, at his waistline was a date tattoo, his long masculine fingers run into his hair as he close his eyes to feel relaxed. At the hospital, Simon woke up from the cushion he slept on, he looked at the lady with bandages on her head, and he sighed recalling what the doctor told him. “She had a serious head injury and it might lead to loss of memory,” the doctor said for Simon to sigh. “When will she wake up?” He asks. “Depends, I can’t say but if eventually she loses the memory, it will take her six months before she begins to recognize herself,” he said for Simon to sigh. He rubbed his face after searching the internet to find anything about her but couldn’t because she was not with her ID or anything that he could use to find out where she was from. He yawned before he called his boss. He carried his phone only to see missed calls which made him wonder what was going on. Immediately he dialed his boss's number to give him an update about the accident. “Good morning sir” he greeted after Damien picked up, without waiting for a response which he knew he wouldn’t get, he started to speak. He told Damien everything the doctor said and his lack of information about the girl before he waited for a response. “Transfer her to the Gladys Vladimir hospital,” he said and hung up for Simon to sigh…….The room was in total silence. Everyone waited anxiously for the still-unconscious Beverly to wake up. Mrs. Wales bit her fingers nervously as the doctor finally adjusted Beverly’s blanket.“What do you think happened?” she asked, her voice trembling.“She had a C-section,” the doctor explained calmly. “She lost a lot of blood, but we managed to stabilize her. She should wake up within an hour or two. Luckily, she was brought here immediately after surgery.”Kayla frowned deeply. It must be Damien. What did he do to her? she thought bitterly.“Thank you, doctor,” Mrs. Wales said with a stiff nod.“Aunty, let me speak with the cops outside,” Kayla added. “If we let the authorities take this case, it will just become another cold file. That won’t bring justice for her.” Without waiting for an answer, she walked out.Mrs. Wales held her daughter’s hand tightly, tears spilling down her face.“I told you to forget about Damien,” she sobbed. “You ruined everything, and now… now it can never
The black Benz sped through the rainy night, weaving through traffic as it raced toward the hospital.Police sirens wailed behind. Cops gave chase, but Damien had no time to stop. His guards, following close behind, intercepted the police to hold them back while he kept driving. At the trauma center, Dr. Frankie was waiting. The moment Damien’s car screeched to a halt, he leapt out, carrying Aurora in his arms. Nurses rushed forward with a stretcher, placing her gently on the bed. Damien followed, barefoot, shirtless, his wet pants clinging to him, hair dripping with rain.“Save my wife. No matter what,” he ordered, his voice firm as they wheeled Aurora into the emergency ward.People nearby couldn’t help but gasp. The sight of him—muscular, soaked, his sharp features shadowed by worry—made him look like a water god, a being descended from the storm.“Oh my goodness…” whispers echoed, though they meant nothing to Damien. The head nurse hurried to the scene, curious about the commotion
The room was dark. Cold air from the balcony spread into the room like an open fridge. Damien wanted to apologize after making his wife feel she had crossed a line. The rain was about to begin—the clouds roared, lightning striking across the sky.He gently closed the balcony door and walked toward their inner bedroom. But the large bed was empty, perfectly neat from the maid’s fresh work earlier that evening. Damien frowned, then checked the bathroom. No one. It was as though she had never entered the room at all.His heart skipped. Nervously, his hands clutched his pants. Barefoot, he turned sharply and rushed out, heading downstairs.“Aurora!” he shouted.James, the butler, was on his final nightly rounds when he saw his boss—barefoot, shirtless, only in black pants, his face filled with worry.“Where is my wife?” Damien’s voice held more fear than anger, unlike his usual tone.“The… the madam, I haven’t seen her since she went upstairs,” James stammered.“What do you mean?” Damien
Beverly’s lips trembled, her hands wrapped around her stomach as if protecting her child from predators. “Da-Damien, I don’t understand. I’m seven—seven months gone. Aborting the child means I’m calling for death. Pl—” “I don’t care,” Damien cut in coldly. “Don’t waste my time. I can make it easier for you by pulling the trigger on your head—or your stomach. Choose,” he said, as tears began to stream down Beverly’s cheeks. “Damien, this is your child. Precious, bring the scan so he can see. It’s a boy, Damien—your son,” she said. The maid stood up immediately to go bring the scan, but a gunshot rang out and her body fell to the ground, lifeless. “Ahh!” Beverly screamed, her hands covering her mouth in terror. “Precious… oh goodness!” she cried out in horror. “I’m not joking,” Damien said, causing Beverly to tremble even more. “Will you abort that thing—or should I send you to hell?” he asked. Beverly sobbed uncontrollably. “Spare me… Damien, please. If we can’t be together, l
Agatha immediately rushed back to her room and picked up her bag. She knew this place wasn’t for her. Though she had hopes of being with Mason, after this incident, those hopes were gone.“Where are you going? You’re not going out—”“Aurora asked someone to pick me up. I already talked to—”“Let me take you there, if you’ll feel more comfortable. I’ll check on you once—”“No need, Mason. Please,” she said, causing Mason to frown.“I don’t understand. No need for what? You’re under my—”“I’ll be okay with Aurora. I’ll be safe under Damien. Just do what your mother asked of you,” she said.Mason scoffed and wiped his face.“You don’t have to be worried about that. I’m a man, and that’s my—”“Then make it clear to your mother that we have nothing between us. We’re just friends. She keeps getting the wrong idea, and it’s pissing her off,” Agatha said.Mason frowned deeply.“What do you mean we have nothing? A week ago, we had sex like a couple. And two nights ago, you let me make love to
The study was silent. Damien’s eyes were fixed on Simon, whose hands were shaking and drenched in sweat.“Damien, is this true? Is she carrying your baby? Did you threaten to kill her? Did—”“Leave,” he turned to Aurora, who frowned.“Damien, I need to—”“Stella!!” Damien called, his voice filled with rage, prompting Stella to rush into the study.“Boss,” she said, bowing her head.“Take your madam upstairs,” he said quietly. Stella turned to Aurora, who picked up her phone and walked away.As soon as Aurora left, Simon dropped to his knees, already trembling with fear and tears streaming down his face.“Forgive me, Boss. I couldn’t bring myself to kill her after finding out she’s carrying your baby…” he pleaded, just as Damien cocked his pistol.“You disobeyed my order,” Damien said, pointing the gun at Simon.“I’m sorry, I—”Two gunshots rang out, and Damien walked out of the study.“James,” he called to his butler.“Yes, Boss,” the elderly man replied with a bow.“Take two guards a
