Chapter 18: Broken

Summer and Charles ate their breakfast in peace, without a word spoken. The looks on their face shows they were happy and couldn't care less.

They were done with their breakfast, so they went out of the room, lead by the female escort back to their car park without being seen.

Summer phone rings on the way to the car park, she look at the caller and it was her Dad.

Her eyes beamed in surprises, has he finally made up his mind to give him his shares.

She picked it at the second ring.

" Hello father" 

"Come home right now, we need to talk" He delivered and hung up.

She smiled devilishly, he called her. That only means one thing, "he is ready to give her the company" So she thought.

"Who was that?" Charles asked." My dad, he wants to see me" She answer compressing her lips together.

"That means you are leaving? Do you want me to drive you there?" 

"No, I'll just take a cab. I don't want to risk you getting seen" She re
