Chapter 19: When Trust Is Gone
Summer reached home looking all sore and a little tipsy, that was the result of the bar she went to before coming home.
She thought she is finally winning but not anymore. It is all because she knows she can't win, it is obvious Dora has more supporters which means her chance to becoming the president is slim. Everyone will support Dora because of her powerful husband, it is so frustrating and unfair to her.
She was so lost in thought that she didn't notice her husband presence in the living room.
"You are back" Charles said, bringing her attention to him.
"Oh my!!" Summer exclaimed startled. "What are you doing there?" She asked, with her hand on her chest.
"Waiting for you, but you seems carried away. Is everything ok?" He questioned worried.
"It is nothing" Summer lied. She has always been the type who doesn't like depending on someone, she found it weak. And even if she did tell him, she doubt there is nothing he can.
