登入“THE BRIDE GETS THE CROWN. THE BROTHER GETS THE KING.” A mistake. That's what it is. But mistakes are addictive too, sweet as hell, alluring, and happen more than once. Nicolas and I were not supposed to be. He's the enemy and I'm supposed to be the last face he would see as he takes his last breath. But that's the thing about being sent after a devil. He lures you, binds you, and takes you over and over again. I should be scared. I am. And this one is sin. He's not just my enemy. He's my brother-in-law. We are not supposed to be, our story was not supposed to be written. But he's a taste of heaven on earth and I'll willingly die smiling. My name is Saint and Nicolas is my secret, my dark desire. “Devotion Becomes Dangerous When The Devil Kneels First.”
查看更多Saint was about to look away grudgingly when Nicholas's towel lowered itself and then fell to the floor, revealing a tattoo. His gaze snagged on it before he could even stop himself. The tattoo rested low on Nicholas's back, directly above his waist. The design climbed the base of his spine in elegant black lines. Sharp points and sweeping curves intertwined around a narrow central shape that resembled a watchful eye. Thorn-like flourishes stretched outward before curling back in on themselves, giving the impression of something dangerous held barely under control. It was strange how the tattoo fit him perfectly. It was beautiful in the same way a venomous snake was. The kind of thing that warned you to keep your distance while still making you want to step closer anyway. For a moment, Saint forgot they were supposed to hate each other. That was...until Nicholas jumped suddenly while wearing his grey sweatpants. Saint gulped and looked away quickly, afraid to be caught while Nichol
"I never asked for your help." Saint seeth his teeth but Nicholas was less bothered about the situation. Rather he managed to place his hand in between the little space available and push his way in. "Wow, this place looks terrible. Now I get why you're always in a bad mood." He laughed. Saint bit the corner of his mouth, his eyes rolled up to meet the sky as if begging God for the pill of patience before slamming the door shut. "You were supposed to be in my room by 7 pm. It's past 7 already and you're not there yet." Nicholas said, putting two hands in his pockets and almost swinging sideways. Saint walked past him, continuing to pack up. It was better that he ignored the idiot rather than waste his precious time arguing. "I knew there was something about you." Nicholas, who supposedly was there to help Saint pack up, began to yap unnecessarily, walking to and from the room as if he was barking orders. Saint was shaking while simply holding his last piece of clothin
Saint watched the principal pace from the corner of his eyes in frustration and when he paused to look at them, he averted his gaze elsewhere with his head still bent. He had a few injuries on his face. Nicholas on the other hand couldn't care less. He was seated next to Saint, his arms spread away with his legs crossed. His nose had dry bloodstains but he seemed to be unbothered by them. A lollipop was in his mouth which he played with as they both awaited the principal's lecture. The man who was in his early fifties appeared stressed. He adjusted his glasses and his tie in order, flung the hem of his suit jacket before taking a seat. "Gentlemen, what was that show you put on in public?" He started. "Did you two forget that this is a school? How could you have created such a disturbance?" Nicholas eyed him, causing dread to rush down the spine of the Principal. "I'd advise you to mind the way you speak to me if you'd like to go home with your tongue still in your mouth." T
Saint grabbed one of the boys by a collar and threw him across the room. He hit the far wall with a crash, landing to the ground with a loud scream that soon turned to muffled groans. "You asshole!" Another boy screamed from behind. He rushed forward with his fists close to Saint's head but the young man was pretty calculative and fast enough to reach back, grab his hand and throw him over his shoulder. He also hit the floor hard. Saint immediately dropped to one knee, caught his arm and twisted it. The poor boy screamed, slamming his other hand against the ground. "Ah–fuck – Stop it! Stop it!" A satisfied smirk briefly landed on Saint's face before he let go of his hand. He stood up, turned and kicked another boy who had planned to attack him. His head snapped back and he dropped, groaning in pain. The fourth person could only stare at Saint helplessly. He was too scared to move and also in a state of disbelief. Not for once had Saint acted like this towards anyone. He
