"Who is the chef tonight? The dishes are so delicious. Was it you? Granny." Kaden asked, having one more spoonful of food.

His fiancee was sitting next to her, while Apollo and Avery were on their opposite.

The dining table felt somewhat more like a battlefield, coldness encompassing everywhere.

Jessy answered him with a smile, "It's your sister-in-law. She made the dinner tonight."

Kaden had a smirk on his face as he stared at Avery. Since he came here, he had been keeping his eyes on her.

"Seems like sister-in-law is a great cook. Cousin is so lucky to have her."

Avery smiled and continued eating. Her mind was here then it was not, waiting for the time to pass fast.

'I was worried for nothing, he probably doesn't remember me. It's been quite long since he saw me in the Lincoln Re...'

But suddenly her thoughts got interrupted and she almost choked on her food.

"It might be that sister-in-law has been a cook for a long time. I feel I have eaten the dishes she made before."
