LXXVII: Will Fight to Death

Knox's POV

Right after receiving a hundred lashes on my back using a silver ship as a punishment for disrespecting their queen, and the royal blood, I was thrown back to our room and because I had no strength anymore, I almost hit my face on the bunk bed, but I was thankfully caught by Han.

"Pathetic Alpha. That's what you deserve." They sneered at me and spat on the ground before laughing to themselves and leaving.

"Alpha!" Deena, one of the pack's elderly women, shouted in horror and they helped me sit on the bed.

"They are animals!" Oliver yelled in anger.

I groaned and breathed hard but ended up flinching because it felt like my lungs would burst. Everything hurts, including my heart because I heard it was Alyssa herself who ordered this punishment.

"It's fine. I will be just fine. I can take this much." I forced a smile to stop them from worrying.
