Scarlett's pov

"Nora, what's going on?" I asked as I watched the omegas work frantically around me. Asher and I had just finished a training session and although I hadn't noticed any changes Asher was adamant that I was making progress.

"Where have you been? I need as much help as I can get," Nora announced as she looked relieved to see me.

"What's going on?" I asked again as she approached me.

"We are hosting a banquet," she informed me.

"What? Why?" My brows creased in confusion.

"It's the council they've been on Silas' neck to get a new mate and Luna for the pack. He can't hold them off for much longer," Nora explained and I stiffened at her words.

The council wanted Silas to get a new mate?

"You seem surprised?" Nora noted as she stared at me with an arched brow and I immediately schooled my features.

"I am, I mean I've never really thought about Silas with a mate. I can't imagine him being romantic to anyone I guess," I offered and Nora nodded slowly although her eyes

    Chapter 59Silas' povI pushed open the infirmary doors frantically and all eyes turned to me."She needs immediate treatment," I announced as I was led into one of the rooms and I gently placed Scarlett onto the bed."What happened?"     Chapter 58Silas' pov"Silas," a familiar voice called out to me and I looked around but couldn't see anyone."Elara?" I called out hesitantly."Silas."
