Coffee or Movie

That same night, Cara invited her out, but she declined because the idea of sitting in a coffeehouse for an open mic night didn't exactly excite or fascinate her. She preferred staying indoors and just sleeping or lazing around like she always does.

That aside, she was not in the mood for that at all. The mood she was in had something to do with listening to slow soul music or saddening poetry that would wash over her, at home. But the one she wanted the most would be to stay cuddled up in her bed and watch a movie or two.

“But you said you were bored when we came over this afternoon. At least that was what I heard.” She said.

Alex nodded. “Oh, yes. I did and I remembered being so bored out of my mind, but going out this evening is just not tempting for me at all. I just want to be right here, that’s all.” She said.
