There's something mysterious about the moon. The way it just stays up in the sky, shining the brightest possible way that it can. Whenever I looked at a full moon, I thought - " what if the moon is alive, what if it's the supernatural power that watches the things that happen at night?" 

Vampires were nightcrawlers and I felt mad at the moon for seeing all the evil they do and yet not doing anything about it. But that was few days after Aliyah was killed, I was just looking for anything or anyone to blame. 

Tonight as I looked at the crescent-shaped moon, I realized that the moon is a wolves thing, not vampires. Something about the way the crescent moon shined made me see the pack in a new light.
