LOGINElana.
It was midnight and everyone had gone to sleep. I picked up my small travel bag and climbed out of my window with the rope which I had found. When I successfully made it to the ground, I rolled the bottom of the rope and threw it up into my room through the window to avoid drawing attention. I made sure to lock my door before I left. I stayed low and crawled till I reached a safe distance from my house. And then I ran. I ran because moving at this hour was a very risky thing to do. There were a lot of insane wolves lurking about and hopefully, I didn't get seen. I stopped by a tree stump to sit for a bit and catch my breath. So I was really doing this? I’m going back to that man. He’s going to ruin my life. I just have to come clean and tell him who I am. The daughter of a Gamma should not be anyone's slave. I took a sip of water and got back on my feet to continue my journey. About 10 minutes left. I was walking at a slower pace because I didn’t have that much energy. But for some reason, I felt like I was being followed. I heard a crunch behind me and I snapped my head in the direction to see what it was. And I wish I didn't turn around. I froze in my tracks as I locked eyes with a figure that stood about 8 feet away from me. They had the same structure as the person from yesterday. “W-Wh-Who are you?” I mustered up the courage to ask. They didn’t reply but started moving closer to me inch by inch. No way I’m sticking around to find out who they are. I turned around and ran. And as if the moon goddess was in my favor, Tally showed up. “Elana, who is that?” “Tally—I don’t know—and I don’t think—I want to find out!” I said, trying to catch my breath as I ran. “Switch,” is all Tally said before taking over. She held the bag in her mouth as we ran. The person’s wolf followed right behind us. My heart was floating in my stomach all through. Silver Moon territory was visible from where we were, and so I was relieved a bit. Just as we were about to reach the territory checkpoint, I stumbled on my feet and fell to the ground. Tally had disappeared again. I knew she wouldn’t be able to take us so far considering she’s a weak wolf with not much strength. “Stay away from me!” I said, picking up a long stick from the ground and turning around to defend myself from the stalker. But there was no one there. I bent over, placing my palm on my knees to catch my breath. My skirt was messed up and I was dirty. Guess I’m returning how I left. I picked up the bag and went into Silver Moon territory. The guards didn’t even ask who I was. Just wait till Alpha Alex finds out. I called a transporter, and they took me to the Alpha’s mansion. The memories of my time here came rushing in. And that night… “Thank you,” I said, paying the transporter for the ride and arranging my outfit. I walked over to the mansion gate with my bag hung on my shoulder. “Stop. Who are you and what do you want?” One of the guards asked. I recognized him. It was the same guard that accompanied the other man in brutally and disrespectfully pulling me here for punishment. “Are you serious?” I said, rolling my eyes. “Let me in. Your Alpha sent for me.” The guard immediately burst out laughing and his co-worker joined in. “The Alpha sent for you? And why would he seek the presence of a slut like you?” he snorted. How could they mock me like that? Didn’t they know who I was? Before I could defend myself, a strong pair of arms appeared from behind the guard, strangling him. “Did you make her a slut?” Alpha Alex asked, squeezing the guard's throat with his fingers. His veins looked like they would pop out any moment. I didn’t even notice when he came outside the gate. “Answer me, did you make her a slut?” he asked again, his tone vibrant with anger. “N-N-No sir,” the guard replied barely. Almost suffocating. “Now you are going to take her in for a change of clothes and escort her to my room, understood?” he said, still choking the guard who was almost lifeless. “I SAID DO YOU UNDERSTAND?” He asked, tightening his grip. “Hmmm..hmm,” is all the guard could let out, attempting to nod and tapping Alpha Alex’s hand to spare him. He finally let go, and the guard fell to his knees, hands on the floor gasping for breath. His co-worker stared in shock. He’s lucky Alpha Alex didn’t get to him. But why would he torture someone for me? He didn’t even speak to me, just ordered the guard and left. The guard got up on his feet and motioned for me to pass by him. “After you ma’am,” he said, rubbing his neck with one hand. That’s what I thought, I let out a snort and took the lead to the mansion. ******* I smoothed out the dress I was given as I waited for Alpha Alex to open his room door so I could go in. The dress was really pretty. A yellow floral short sundress that fit my slim body perfectly. The door opened, and I walked in, it shut behind me and I turned around to an intimidating Alex. “You requested my presence?” I said without wasting any time. He looked me up and down, no emotion written on his face. Ignoring my question, he walked over to his bed and sat on the edge. “You had the audacity and courage to dare run away from me.” “Yes. Yes, I did. And I am wondering why I was threatened to return," I said, crossing my arms. “What do you want from me, sir?” I asked fearlessly. “Don’t call me sir,” he said with a serious tone. Then bent his head and raised it back up laughing. Is this man mad? “You really thought you could run away from me that easily?” he asked, chuckling. “Well, I did. And I will do it again,” I said as a matter of fact. “Look who’s back here again,” he said, countering my confident statement. He’s right. Look who’s back. “What do you want?” I asked in a more serious tone. He got up from his bed and walked over to me. I took slow steps back until my back hit the door, and I was trapped. Sweat trickled down my forehead as his hands made contact with my waist. He slid his hands slowly from my waist to my ass under the dress and groped it. I let out a gasp and held his hands to stop him. “Are you scared of me, love?” He asked, clipping my wrists together at my back and holding my waist with one hand. I looked away to avoid eye contact. “Look at me,” he said. I looked up at him, into his eyes and my heart immediately sank to my stomach. “You’re too old for me,” I finally said, my voice quivering. He chuckled and then smiled at what I said. “That’s not a problem. No one’s going to know. Besides, I don't look a day older than 20,” he said. To be fair, he did look quite young. But it was still forbidden to love or be loved by someone almost my father’s age. “It's almost bright out. My father will find out sooner or later and it will be over for me. Please, I can’t do this,” I pleaded. I wanted it deep down, but it was too much to risk. “Your father will answer to me then,” he said, pressing his bulge against me. A small moan escaped my lips as his hands made their way back to my behind. “I said I can’t do this…my father,” I reminded him. He bent over, so his lips were at the same level as my ears, “So tell me, love, who is your father and why is he an obstacle?” he asked. He may be an Alpha and my father a Gamma. But the alpha of a pack can even be weaker than an omega in another pack. “My…father is Edward Felony White. Gamma of Crystal Moon pack.”Selanene’s POV.I woke up to the harsh sun against my face. I groaned as I turned in bed not wanting to get up just yet.Yesterday Dad punished Theodore and me by giving us the task of cleaning up the bar and putting the place in good shape.I wasn’t looking forward to that. I stretched my hand backward and tapped up and down the bed in search of the body that had slept there the night before but there was none. He probably left early.Theodore had slept overnight in my room. He said the night was just too thrill-filled to end that quickly and he had already risked himself sneaking into my room so we just carried on.We watched another movie “Throw Away”. I learned a few tips on how to survive on my own in the outside world when I escape. Before the end of the movie, Theodore had fallen fast asleep on the rug in front of my bed. It was rather cold so I couldn’t let him lie there.I invited him onto my bed and he didn’t even waste time before jumping in. Though he went right back to sl
Selanene’s POV.“We should probably leave,” I said as I hopped off the stool I was sitting on. I had heard a noise coming from the back and it was the right timing because things were getting a bit too weird with Theo and me.“Yeah you’re right,” Theo said and cleared his throat. He got up from the seat and laughed. I looked back at him with a smile on my face.“What?” I asked. He looked down at his outfit. “Our clothes are very sticky and dirty. We’ll need to take deep showers back at the mansion.”“Of course we will,” I said. I had just picked up my strap bag when we heard heavy footsteps approach us. I turned around and looked at Theodore wide-eyed.He froze and looked at me with a similar expression. We both stayed quiet.“Who’s in here?” The voice asked. It was deep and clearly belonged to a man. One of the guards of the bar. Weren’t they all supposed to be away?Theodore and I stayed silent. I was panicking inside.“I said who’s there?!” He shouted again, sounding like he was ge
Selanene’s POV.“You ready?” I whispered with a wide smile spread across my lips. Theodore stood inside his room holding the door open.“You’re determined to get us in trouble Selanene!” He said and gave way for me to come in. I flung the black strap bag I had on me onto his bed and sat.“Fun isn’t it? Have you gotten everything?” I asked him.“Torch. Backup torch. Rope. Mask. Yes, I have everything,” he said and zipped his bag up.“Good!” I exclaimed and bounced up from the bed. I hung my bag across my body and made my way towards his room window.I slid it up opening it. The cool breeze flushed in. The sky was black and there were barely any stars in the sky. Perfect.“What if we get caught?” Theodore asked as he approached me by the big window.“Then we run,” I said. I gave him a pat on his shoulder and opened my bag. Pulling out a long rope I handed it to Theodore. He tied it to his rope and then tied the extended rope to something strong enough to hold our weight.I went down fir
Selanene’s POV.“How did you find this place?” Theo asked in awe as he took in the sight. In front of us was a lake. As clear as crystal. The sky reflected on the water ever so clearly. The atmosphere was fresh. And the sounds of birds chirping filled the air.Deep in the forest behind my father’s mansion, past all the trees and the two huge trees that stood as a gateway, was a place anyone could go to escape reality. It was as though I was in a whole other world when I was there.“Well. That’s for me to know and for you to guess,” I teased with a shrug. I ran towards the lake and began to take off my clothes. Exposing my body to him. But at that moment, I didn’t care.“Selanene what are you doing?” Theo said with a nervous laugh.“Getting in the water of course. What do you think we’re here for,” I said.“Oh… I’m not sure Selanene. It’s rather cold today,” he said in an attempt to shy away. I rolled my eyes at his flimsy excuse.“It’s about 32 degrees, Theodore. You need to loosen up
Selanene’s POV."Theo? Is that really you?" I exclaimed, my eyes wide with shock and excitement as I hurried to the table. I should’ve known better.I tripped on my skirt and fell down on the floor with an ‘mph’ sound coming out of my mouth due to the impact.I heard a snort and looked up to see Siera laughing at me. I rolled my eyes and gathered the massive skirt Mum had been suggesting I get mended, before getting up.I walked to the table joining the silence I had met when I walked in. Such a tense atmosphere.I sat in my chair and looked across the table to see Aunt Merlin. “Good day, Aunt Merlin. It’s good to see you again.”“Hello, Roselene. Good to see you too. How are you?” She asked me while forcing a smile.Aunt Merlin didn’t look her best. She didn’t look alright at all. Her collarbones were more visible than those of any other person. Her lips had thinned out. She looked rather pale. Her eyes were round and black. She looked unwell. Was it because of all the grief?“I’m do
Selanene’s POV.I walked slowly down the hall leading to my dorm room, my footsteps echoing in the silence. Everyone else was already in the school block having their lectures. The news of her indefinite suspension had hit me hard, and I was on my way to my room to pack her things.I really don’t know what made Dad think I would last in the school. As I reached the door to my room, I hesitated for a moment before pushing it open. I wanted to be sure I was alone because the last thing I needed was any interactions with Cassandra. When I walked into the room, I was greeted by my roommate, pilly. She was sitting on her bed, her eyes red from crying."Hey," I said softly, trying to muster a smile.Pilly looked up, her face a mix of sadness and guilt. "Hey, Row."“Are you alright? Why are you crying? And why aren’t you in your class?” I asked as I sat beside her on her bed.“I’m not alright Row i feel really bad. What did they decide to do?”“Well, I’m suspended indefinitely. I actually ca
