LOGINElena's Pov
I froze in my steps, turning my head slightly but didn't look at him. " I said, get out of my pack." The words stumbled out of my mouth.
I didn't wait, I dashed out of the hall with my red gown flying right behind my back. I move through the grand hallway, the sweet scent of rose rose Mary hitting my nose. At that moment, I paused.
Blake was close, and was following right behind me, he didn't want to show himself. Letting out a deep breath, I continued moving, my steps were energetic as the portraits also stared as I moved right through the hall without sparing them a glance...
As soon as I got into the room, I shot the door behind me, swiping off the tears on my face.
" Why did he come back?" I screamed... At no one exactly, I just yelled at myself. " Why... Did... He... Come... Back!" With each word, I landed a tight punch across the wall.
As my hands collided with it, I felt the room temperature decrease with each second... I raised my head staring at the red curtains, as they flew up and down with the help of the wind.
I slowly reversed, lowering my body and sitting on the bed. I raked my hands through my head, I didn't know how he even knew that I was here? Who gave him that information?
At that moment, his voice came through the wall. " I never knew she would live!" He said, his voice low. "I did all what I did back then... Forget about it, it's all in the past." He said
At that moment, I realized that he was talking to Blake, and Blake wanted me to hear their conversation. Wow. Men are really stupid!
" Is she the Luna?" Jayden asked, his voice low as always.
" Yes... It has been for over 8 years now, she gave birth in this pack." Blake said, his voice cold.
" Oh, then I am right." Jayden said. " I need her help." This time his voice was somewhat not the, I can feel him trembling from beneath.
" Tell me about it." Blake inquired.
" My mum's sick, and Elena is the only healer that can help her." He said, his voice trembling.
As soon as he said that word, the whole place went quiet, I could not hear anything anymore. His words cut through my soul as the picture of his mother flashed at the back of my mind... She was the only person who was treated with love and compassion.
She reminded me that all wolves are not the same, but now she needs my help. How will I do that? How do I help her? What should I do?
Tears slowly cascaded down my cheek... My heart aches as his last words resounded at the back of my head.
As I was about to lie down, Blake's voice evaded my mind. " Did you hear him?" He asked.
" I could, but tell him to leave. I don't want to see him." I said, through the mind link. Immediately, I shut the mind link not wanting him to even reply to me.
I laid flat, staring at the ceiling, the glistening chandelier above me reminded me of the first day I got to this pack. How Blake took care of me, how he carried me in a bridal style. The way he stared at me.
And now, I couldn't help, but feel he is silently departing. I just feel insecure after seeing Jayden. I am not the old Elena, I am a strong Luna, the wife of the hybrid Alpha, there is nothing I can't face. But, now I feel all those words were just fancy. I can't face my son, I can't tell him that his so-called friend is his father.
I can't distinguish that core fact, I can't even tell him that everything he believed, and everything I told him were lies. I can't face the father of my child. For the first time, Moses laughed freely with someone new. Not even with Blake, not with his beta Gerald, but Jayden.
" Just leave." I heard Blake's voice.
And the next moment, the whole place went silent, and I could hear the whispers of the day. I turned my head towards the window, the sun was setting. I stared as the orange sun light casted through the window, not strong enough to cast shadows of the edges but, its warmth danced on my skin.
As I was about to close my eyes, the door swung open revealing Moses, and behind him was Blake. The small guy and his enemy. Great! Just great! Now, they would start questioning me.
" Mum, why..." Before he could finish his words, I raised my hand stopping him from doing so.
" Now, get your damn ass back downstairs, I need sometime alone." I snapped, pointing my fingers at the door.
I watched as his face turned grimaced, he lowered his head. And at that moment, I felt a sharp energy radiating from him. But, I couldn't have cared less. I watched as he dragged himself out of the room while Blake just watched his whole movement as he stepped out the door.
I returned back to my normal position. Staring at the lamp light, I knew he would say something. But, I was thinking about it.
" What happened in the past?" He asked.
That one question, I never thought he would. That one question was my ennui. Damn, how do I answer him?
" What did he tell you?" I asked, " Why are you suddenly interested in my past?" I countered.
I couldn't help but feel my heart ache the moment he said those words. His words are playing at the back of my mind constantly.
" I asked a straight question, and I need a straight answer from you!" He snapped, for one second he was standing right there by the door, and the next, he was right in front of me gripping my hand firmly.
I stared, his expression masked with a cold indifference. This is not the same person I knew, it's just like he evolved.
" Answer me!" He yelled.
" Don't f**king yells at me, do you know what he did?" I asked, my blood boiled as anger simmered through my veins. " Do you?" I yelled,
" How do you want me to? When you just kept it hidden for over 8 years."
Out of rage, I landed a tight slap across his face, and I knew I had made the utmost mistake then and there but, there was no way I could admit it. " You are crazy!" I said, not knowing how to face him with my past.
The past I buried. The past I tried to hide. The past that matters to only me. The past that became my cage. The past I never escaped from.
I stared at him, as the tears I tried to hold came pouring in an instant. My hands went cold and numb. Slowly my heart thumped.
Thump... Thump... Thump...
With every damn thump, I could feel my world drowning. " Why do you care so much about my past?" I cried.
He said nothing, he just walked towards the door. And as soon as he touched the door knob, he paused, turning back to look at m
e. " Jayden is my fated mate!" He said, heading out of the room slamming the door on me.
Elena's PovI leapt into the air, sounds of cracking bones filled the air as I transformed into my wolf Evie, landing on all fours. I continued, sprinting, trailing my son's scent. His whimper filled my heart like a shot of siren. His lavender oil scent filled the air like never before sending his adrenaline everywhere, I could sense his fear, his pain. I could sense him whole. I didn't wait, didn't pause, I continued through the hall heading wherever my paw sent me. As soon as I got to the great hall, I saw my son lying on the floor, convulsing. Slowly, I got close to him, channelling all my healing energy into my paw before placing it on him. I let out a deep sigh. As I counted each second that died. 1... 2... 30... But, he didn't stop the convulsion, I was getting weaker as his energy was draining me like a suction. My wolf blinked, a drop of tear falling. I could sense the overwhelming pain inside of me." Err!" I let out a low growl, channeling the remaining force in me. And y
Elena's Pov" Blake," I called. " Blake!" My voice was louder this time, as he slammed the door shut. " No no no no... This can't be happening!" I cried, my voice cutting through the room. Tears slowly cascaded down my eyes like never before, for the first time in 8 years, I cried. Why? Why does Jayden have to come back? Why does he have to show up in the picture? I knew this day would come, I knew it! I gripped the duvet tightly as it was the only thing that could cover my sorrows at this moment, nothing else could do it. " Why!" I cried, my voice echoed through the corridors of this mansion. I stared at the ceiling as this room itself became my boredom. I stared as the chandelier kept rolling with the support of the ropes. I lowered my gaze, staring blankly at the lantern beside me. My mind clouded with thoughts of the past. Questions rising from every corner. What should I do? If I thought of my sorrows, what about my son? Will he be fatherless? Damn! I was left in a tight corn

Elena's Pov" Mum, just cheer up, it's your birthday today." Moses said, his voice calm as he wrapped his hands around my waist. His words touched the depth of my soul, but I could never forget that day, how Jayden rejected me eight years ago. On my very eighteenth birthday. No matter how far it was, I still could not shake off the feeling of what he did." Yes dear." I answered, my voice low. I wanted to sound firm and calm, but my voice betrayed me as it shook slightly. I felt a sharp pain in my chest. With every birthday, it was supposed to be a day to celebrate my plus one year. But, now it's just like a memory of a deep pain in my chest. I patted his head as he tugged my shirt again. " Urgh, okay. What do you want us to do?" I asked, my voice came out low. " Let's cut the cake." He said, as he dragged me towards the table. I smiled, this son of mine is a tank, he eats a lot. " Don't do that," I said. " Meet your dad, and tell him you need a cupcake." I said, patting his head
Elena's PovWith each step I took out of the manor, the words kept replaying, at the back of my head, 'Mate... Rejection...' just as the same husk voice from my dream repeated these same words. I just hope it doesn't come true. The night poured down its chills, allowing them to sink into my skin as I walked into the big hall. I raised my head staring at the moon which shone through the glass, pouring down its milky light." Happy birthday, Lena." A familiar feminine voice came behind me. I turned sharply, my jaw dropped. Utterly stunned, I never believed someone would remember this day. " Thanks so much!" I said. Today was my last hope, I didn't shift when I turned fifteen. And today, I am eighteen. I just prayed it would happen. I wanted to see my wolf. I don't want to be classified as an omega. " Don't worry dear, your wolf would be gorgeous." She said, wrapping her hands around my body. Her warm hug made my heart melt." I hope it comes true." I said, my voice low. I stared at
