I couldn't believe it. We won the best couple of the year and were even taken up the stage to collect the award and also the crown. This was something that I never for once imagined that I would win, especially not with one of my stepbrothers.

He had a normal expression on his face which made it hard to detect who he was. I couldn't see him but I could just imagine that he was looking at everyone dryly right now.

While we sat down on the chair, I tried talking to him multiple times but the asshole wouldn't even say a word. He didn't even look at me to hear what I was saying, rather he would just sit there quietly and whenever I urged him to talk he would look away.

That was the best way to confirm that it was not Okay because I knew that Kay would never ignore me like this but it didn't stop me from being worried about him. I didn't know why he didn't show up. I was also worried that something happened to him or he might suddenly show up.
