Olivia's POV:

It was a bright Saturday morning. I woke up in my room and decided to inform my adopted mother, Nancy George, about my interest in gaining admission into the pack's university because I wanted to study medicine.

As a 17-year-old girl, I had seen many of our pack members fall sick, and they were unable to shit. This sparked a desire in me to study medicine to help them.

As I got down from my bed, I was wearing a white nightdress. Then I breathed out heavily before I walked out of my room on the second side of the mansion.

I knew that I had to try my luck with my adopted mother. She was cruel to me, but she pampered her own daughter, Emily. I had to try, because it was my only hope of gaining admission into the packs' university, which was expensive.

Nancy worked as a nurse in the Packs hospital, and her husband, Wren, was a lawyer for the Alpha's family. Though my adopted parents were delta wolves. They were rich from working hard and taking care of their two children, Mark and Emily, and they spoiled them.

Mark was a 24-year-old man, and he was hardly at home. Strangely, he had returned home because he was a basketball star and had his own money. He was corrupt and had several girlfriends who visited him and followed him home.

However, his mother did not reprimand him for this. She often encouraged him not to take any of those girls seriously, and he should wait for his fated mate.

I couldn't blame Mark. He was rich together with his parents wealth. The young women in our pack named the Star Field Pack loved him.

Breathing out heavily, I made my way to the living room, seeing it was 8 o'clock in the morning.

The sunlight seeped into the corridor as I approached the living room door.

I had no wolf because I was born on a moonless night. So, I was like a curse, with sharp blue eyes, and I was not fully a werewolf like the rest of them.

As I unlocked the living room door, I heard Emily's excited voice flow through the air. "Mom, I still cannot believe it, that Daniel Ryan, the Beta's son, is asking me to be his girlfriend."

My heart clenched when I heard Emily say that.

Daniel had previously asked me to be his girlfriend, but I told him no.

Well, he didn't give me a chance to explain myself as he spat in my face and pushed me to the ground.

"Who would want to date a wolf-less girl like you," he snarled angrily. " I was only doing you a favor. Nonsense." He spat in my face in front of many of my high school friends before turning and walking away.

I felt embarrassed, but Emily ran over to meet Daniel. She held his right hand and whispered to him, "Daniel, you can be my boyfriend, and don't waste your time on this bìtch."

My heart clenched, but I pushed the hurt aside.

*They were good for each other,* I thought, but Daniel glared at me because he was the Beta's son, and my rejection made him feel bad.

I tried to avoid him. After all, he was not a student in my class. He had only come to the school for his younger sister, Tonia's graduation certificate.

Shutting my eyes at the painful memories, I clenched my fist and moved into the living room. The air thickened at the sight of me, and the family at the dining table stopped eating when they sensed my presence.

"Good morning, everyone," I greeted them with a forced smile.

"Morning, Olivia, what do you want here?" Nancy asked, her hand reaching up to pick up a glass of water on the table. She took a sip, and she was sitting beside her husband, who wore a white robe, while her son and daughter sat across from her.

Seeing their eyes on me, I lowered my head and stammered, but I decided to go straight to the point.

"Um, Aunt, I want to further my education at the pack's university," I said.

"Hahaha!" Nancy laughed, her sound cracking in the air, as she glared at me. She wore an enchanting blue nightdress, and she was fair and beautiful for her middle age.

"Why should you further your education at the pack's university? You're a wolfless girl, and you don't have to think of going to the pack's university. You should serve as our maid as a repayment for all the money we have spent on feeding you up to this size. Isn't that right, honey?" She shifted her gaze to her husband, who nodded in agreement.

"Yes. My mate is right," Mr. Wren declared.

"Olivia, you are to quit your ambition of going to the pack's university and serve as our cleaner here," he said.

"No..." I quickly knelt down before them. "It's been my dream to create a medicine to help our pack members become better. Please..." I clasped my palms together, pleading with them to allow me to further my education. I was grateful they adopted me and fed me. But I had to further my education to become a doctor.

Emily rose from her dining chair. She wore a stunning white nightdress, and she rushed up to meet me and slapped me hard across my face.

"You bìtch! Didn't you hear Mom and Dad say that you are not going to the pack's university? You're to become a servant here in our home and clean this house. Got that!" She dragged my nightdress, pulling me up to her face, after I had fallen hard on the tiled ground.

"That's enough, Emily!" Mark snarled. His cold voice made his sister jump away from me as she turned to look at him.

"Mark, are you taking this bìtch's side over me, your sister?. Mom, Dad, Mark is favoring Olivia!" Emily cried and pointed at me.

The atmosphere in the dining room became tense as my foster parents looked at Mark suspiciously.

"What has come over you, Mark," Mr. Wren demanded. "How can you defend this wolfless girl against your own sister?. We only adopted Olivia to give Emily a younger sister, and since Emily does not want Olivia anymore, you do not have to favor Olivia or see her as your sister. Now, apologize to Emily!" Mr. Wren insisted.

Mark glanced at his parents faces. His jaw tightened as he rose to his feet. "Mom and Dad, you both are wrong. I won't sit down here and watch you bully Olivia just because she doesn't have a wolf. If you guys don't want her anymore, kindly take her back to the orphanage home. I am out of here."

Mark walked away from the dining room, not sparing a glance at me, as he left the house. My jaw dropped to the ground at his blunt words to his parents.

"Mark!"

"Mark! Come back here!" His parents tried calling him, but he had already left the house. The sound of his car starting in the garage filled the air as he drove off.

"You slut. What did you do to possess my only son?." Nancy yelled as she rushed towards me and descended on me in the living room.

Her fists connected with my chin as she smacked me continuously until I collapsed.

(Summer's POV)“So you didn’t miss me?” Christopher asked as I sat next to him in the large classroom.“I do,” I mumbled, my cheeks flushed.“Great. So what did you keep for me?” Christopher inquired. Before I could reply, our professor stepped in and resumed the lecture for the day.As the day rolled by, it was time for lunch. When I rose to leave my seat, I remembered and pulled out the invitation slip that I had personally saved for Christopher.“Chris, I know that we’re just getting to know each other, but here is an invitation to my banquet,” I said, holding out the slip toward him.Christopher was still sitting, writing some notes he had missed on the day he hadn’t shown up to class.“Oh, Summer. That’s thoughtful of you. My dad spoke to me about the banquet yesterday and how much it meant to your parents. They’ve missed you so much,” Christopher said, looking up at my face. I blushed.“Though my dad already brought two invitations for me and my brother, Enzo, I can’t refuse you

BRYAN:"Bryan, what the hell is Ava talking about?" Mom asked as I walked into the exquisite dining room to greet her."Good morning, Mom," I said with a sigh, trying to evade her question.Mom looked at me furiously. "Morning, but you haven’t answered my question.""Mom, I know you’ll be angry if you find out. That’s why I don’t want to mention it to you," I said, frustrated, as I sat down in the chair across from her.Mom leaned back in her dining chair, looked at my face, and asked, "Who is she?""Mom, let’s not talk about her," I said, glancing over at the maids and signaling one of them to serve me breakfast."Bryan, as your mother and your Luna, I demand to know who she is. How can you be so shameless as to lust after someone’s girlfriend?" Mom pointed out, her tone laced with anger. I lowered my head and avoided her gaze.I knew I deserved all the insults, but it wasn’t my fault. My wolf and I wanted Summer."Bryan, are you listening to me at all?" Mom growled. I raised my head

AVA:Mark peered at me in shock; even Mom was stunned by my attitude and shrieking.“Ava, what has gotten into you? Are you trying to make fun of Mark? There is no smell. What are you talking about?” Mom asked aloud as she glared at me.“Mom, Mark reeks of Summer’s smell,” I pointed out, anger flooding through my veins as Mark sniffed his own shirt to identify the irritating smell I was talking about. However, when he heard me mention Summer’s name, his expression softened as he smiled handsomely, making my heart race, and he admitted, “Summer was with me this morning. She came to visit last night and the rainfall was too much, so I advised her to stay back. That’s why I am bathed in her smell—I didn’t want to bathe or wash it off.”Mom’s jaw dropped, including mine. I could not imagine how insane Mark was to carry a woman’s scent on him. Also, to skip bathing so that he didn’t wash off Summer’s smell.Mom looked at Mark differently as she smiled and asked him, “Do you love Summer tha

AVA:When I woke up in my room, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and gasped, “Ah!” My belly tightened, making me perspire. In the meantime, I had been sensitive to some smells, some foods, and I knew that these were all the symptoms of the little pup.Damn it. Why can’t I have a quiet abortion? I murmured; all the abortion medicine had been banned and there was no way I could get rid of the baby.Every child’s life matters to my dad—unless the mother’s health was in danger, then he could approve the termination of the pregnancy. My fist clenched as I wanted to punch the little pup away from my belly, but that would be too extreme.Sighing, I moved to the bathroom to soak myself in a large bathtub of warm water. The weather was cool, and I didn’t want to go to the university. Because I had spent so much time sleeping the previous day in the classroom, the majority of the students were beginning to look at me differently.I had to lay low and keep to myself for now, before the news o

SUMMER:The next morning, I woke up in bed and found myself lying close to Mark. He lay shirtless on the bed, and my hand rested around his waist as I snuggled beside him.Smiling, I shifted on the bed and stared at his attractive features for a while. His chest rose and fell heavily.Checking the wall clock, I saw that it was after 6 a.m. So I carefully got out of bed to avoid waking Mark. Then I made my way into the bathroom to bathe.I couldn’t believe that I was back here and that I had spent a night with Mark. Well, knowing that I had to focus on my studies, I quickly stripped off the dress and got into the shower. After bathing, I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my chest. When I walked back into the room, Mark was not there—the bed was empty—but he had arranged it to look neat.I moved into the closet to find a dress to wear. My mind bugged me to purchase some new dresses and bring them over to Mark’s place, as it was mostly my old clothes that were stuck in

BRYAN:I could not believe my eyes that Summer was here with Mark. No wonder he wasn’t even planning to apologize to my sister or return to the game to join us for the basketball training ahead of the tournament game we have this coming Saturday.I watched Summer boldly walk up to meet Mark, call him babe, embrace him, and kiss him on his left cheek in my presence. My fist clenched at the sight of them. But I didn’t say anything other than watch her figure hurry upstairs.“What brings you here, Alpha Bryan?” Mark asked, finally shifting his face back to me. His lips curled into a smirk to show me that he had claimed Summer—the girl that I wanted—and there was nothing I could do. I was the Alpha. I had to stand there and watch him do whatever he liked. I could have had the privilege to sue Mark, but I confirmed his report that Wren already sent Summer away. So technically, Olivia was a free bird, and now she has reunited with her family.Clearing my throat to put my anger away, I fixed
