(Olivia's POV)

The sound of Mark's phone ringing broke the awkward silence in the room, and he said, "I have to go now, Olivia. Take care."

Mark darted out of the room, and I breathed out heavily, feeling exhausted. A nurse arrived with a health worker who served me breakfast, as I saw that it was past 11:00 a.m. It was a plate of hot custard with milk and two bean cakes.

"How do you feel?" the female nurse asked me with a friendly smile on her pretty brown face, and I saw her resemblance to Dr. Sam. Also, she resembled Erica Robin, my schoolmate.

"I am fine," I said, and she nodded with a smile. She was tall, chubby, and had long, thick brown hair, which she packed in a bun, wearing a white nurse cap on her head.

"Alright. Take care of yourself. I'm Nurse Hazel Owen, Dr. Sam's elder sister. I'm married with two kids," she introduced herself with a soft voice, and I could feel my heart flutter at her words.

"Nice to meet you, Nurse Hazel," I replied, peering at her beautiful face, as I wondered why she was nice to me.

Dr. Sam was also nice, and that made me reconsider his offer, but they were still strangers to me. What if they were pretending to lure me from my foster parents' home and to torture me like my adoptive mother and sister did?

"You don't have to worry. I heard my brother's offer to you, but he's not a bad person. Sam is only trying to help you from a place of love. Besides, Alpha Johnson won't be happy finding out that you were treated poorly by your foster parents. It's against the adoption rules and regulations of the Star-Field Pack," she said, speaking to me like I was her friend.

"Thank you, Nurse. I will reconsider Dr. Sam's offer, but that's after I have gotten home to get my stuff," I said, my tone soft, my eyes watching her, and she smiled.

"Alright. Take care, Olivia," Nurse Hazel said, as she walked away to the door and exited the room.

I resumed with my breakfast, feeling my head aching at the thought of moving over to a total stranger's house.

If I wasn't a wolfless Omega, I could have been thrilled at the thought of finding my mate, but then, I had no wolf to help me find him, the man who could have been destined for me by the moon goddess.

After I finished my breakfast, I wiped off my tears, knowing that crying doesn't solve anything. I had to be strong, and that was what I made up my mind to do. I laid back on the bed, my back resting on the bed as I succumbed to sleep.

(Mark's POV)

"Mark, what kept you so long?" My basketball coach, Tyler Benjamin, yelled at me as I arrived at the basketball court.

We had a basketball match against the Red Ballers in our pack. They didn't want to take their losses, but that wasn't my place to tell them to give up trying.

Aside from playing for the Yellow Ballers basketball team in my pack, I also played against other top packs too, as I was among the Star Field Basketball team players.

"I am sorry, Coach. Something came up, and I had to hurry over," I replied, joining the court, and my coach frowned.

"Get into positions! The game is about to start!" Coach Tyler yelled, his voice cutting off my excuse.

I ran to join my team of basketball players, as we had the triplets, Carter, Caleb, and Cooper Grayson, who were the center players. They were responsible for shot blocking, rebounding, and defending the ball. They were dark-skinned, tall, and identical, as they were Omegas too.

Also, we had Alpha Johnson's son, Bryan Anderson. He was twenty-five years old, dark-skinned, tall, and played as our shooting guard. He stroked the ball, covering long range and scoring many points. He was my teammate, and we were good friends.

Also, his Beta, Daniel Ryan, was our power forward player, focusing on rebounding and defense. As I played as the versatile player, the small forward. Together, we made a great team, since we became the Yellow Ballers in our set.

As the basketball match kicked off, my mood improved as Logan, my wolf, was happy that Olivia was finally awake. Something in me tells me that she could be my mate.

I knew that I used to avoid Olivia, and I hardly talked to her, but since she became a teenager and started developing breásts, I couldn't stop thinking of her rapid growth, and I am unconcerned whether she had a wolf or not.

She was beautiful and everything I want in my woman. She was of average height, had striking blonde hair that bounced and waved whenever she let it down.

Olivia had the most amazing smile that could capture any man's heart, but she rarely smiled and only at a few times that I caught her laughing with her best friend, Erica Robin.

"Mark, Olivia is possibly our mate, even though she doesn't have a wolf scent. She is still acceptable and beautiful," Logan said, wanting Olivia too, but the fact that she was like a sister to me irked me off.

I know Olivia wasn't the only she-wolf in our pack born on a moonless night, but she was a beautiful girl, and I wondered why her parents threw her away.

As the fourth quarter of the basketball match kicked off, we were scoring against the Red Ballers, a total of 120 points, while they were just at 30 points. Still, their group leader, Enzo Lawrence, whose father was a billionaire and a sponsor of the basketball game, didn't want to take his loss.

"Three minutes left! The Yellow Ballers are winning the game!" the supervisor announced, and the referee blew the whistle.

Enzo and his Red team players reached to block the ball, preventing me from passing the ball and scoring.

As I turned to pass the ball to Daniel, I jumped and threw the ball into the red team basket, scoring three points for my team, as it was an eight-minute match.

A minute left, and Enzo glared at us as the basketball match started, dribbling and passing, then Bryan did a free throw and scored one point, giving us 124 points against them.

"The Yellow Ballers win!"

As the match came to an end, I set to leave for the hospital to check on Olivia again before I returned home. However, Bryan and Daniel rushed up to shake hands with me.

"Congratulations Mark! You did a great job!" Bryan squealed, shaking hands with me and enveloping me in a hug.

"Thanks, Alpha," I replied with a smile, seeing Enzo glaring at me, but I shifted my gaze to Daniel and shook his hands before the triplets, Carter, Caleb, and Cooper, came forward to hug me too.

"Up Yellow Ballers!" We squealed as we posed for a group photo before going to meet our coach. It was a friendly match against the Red Ballers, who refused to accept defeat.

"Mark!" Coach Tyler called to my attention, his lips curled in a smile as I walked up to meet him. His daughter, Rita, was among the Yellow Ballers group cheerleaders. She smiled and waved at me as I walked up to meet her father.

"You did a great job, Mark, together with the team. We have a basketball game upcoming next week against the Bright Star Pack, so you need to get prepared," Coach Tyler said as he wore a yellow top and black trousers.

"Alright, Coach. I will be there," I replied with a smile as I set to leave.

"That reminds me, Mark. Rita's 18th birthday is tomorrow. Are you going to come? I invited the rest of the team, and they promised to be there," Coach Tyler said, as Bryan and Daniel walked up to meet us, together with our team members.

"Um, I have something to take care of at home, Coach, so I might not be available to attend Rita's birthday. I am sorry," I said apologetically, and Rita's smile faded, but Coach Tyler wore a tight expression.

"Mark, the party won't start in the morning. It will start in the evening by 6:00 p.m., so I am guessing you will be free by then," Coach Tyler said, as the day was Tuesday.

"Alright, I will make chance for it," I said, wanting to leave, and Rita rushed up to wrap me in a hug, and I stiffened as her hands enveloped me.

"Thank you, Mark!" She giggled, her rose scent filled my nostrils, and I smiled and carefully pulled her away from me.

"It's fine," I replied bashfully. The young women in the pack cannot stop ogling at me. Rita was a Delta wolf, and she was hoping that I was going to be her mate.

Raking my right hand behind my head, as I raked my short black hair, I smiled and said, "I have to go."

(Mark's POV)I had finished painting some of the client works that I had pending on my laptop, based on client requests, when Caleb mind-linked me that he was coming over to my house with Olivia.Swiftly, I left everything I was doing and rushed out of the house to welcome them.Although my father had mind-linked me too, and invited me home for us to discuss Emily's mate bond with Carter and how we can reach out to Carter, as Emily was unhappy and crying.Well, as much as I like my sister, I couldn't trade my own happiness for her to be happy. So I haven't agreed to visit him yet. But hearing that Olivia was coming over to my house made me overjoyed. As the security man pulled the gate open, I walked out to welcome them and enveloped Olivia in a warm hug after she returned back.Allowing her to go home wasn't what I wanted, but I couldn't stop her from reuniting with her family. After all, I knew how much it meant to her."How is home? Why did you bring her back? Is she going to live

  • Mated To My Obsessive Foster Brother   Chapter 65

Olivia's POV:After dinner with my parents ended at the table, I picked up the napkin to wipe my lips clean."Thanks, Mom and Dad," I said with a smile, recalling that Nancy and her husband had barred me from eating at the dining table with them or even calling them Dad and Mom."You're welcome, Summer," my parents said, calling me by my real name."Don't worry. Once Caleb is done, he will escort you to Mark's house to get your stuff, okay?" my dad said, to which I smiled and rose to my feet."Alright. I would like to use the washroom," I said with a soft voice, as I excused myself from the dining table.I made my way upstairs and went back to my room, and I went to the bathroom to use it. The room was neat, including the washroom. When I was done, I got out and met my mother in the room.I smiled, walking up to meet her, as I had dried my hands with a tissue in the washroom."How was life growing up with the George's family? Although I am not happy that you chose to be with Mark," Mo

  • Mated To My Obsessive Foster Brother   Chapter 64

Olivia's POVWalking into the living room of the magnificent mansion, I gasped at the grand stairs and interior decoration. The mansion was more stunning than Mark's home or Mr. and Mrs. George's home."You're welcome home, Summer. This is your home too," my family said, as they all smiled at me.Tears welled up in my eyes as I could not believe that this was my real family. It all felt like a dream, but it wasn't.Taking a glance around the grand living room, I peered at the artistic painting on the wall.I saw a similar artistic image, but with different clothes, of the baby drawn on the wall.So if Mark hadn't drawn this baby portrait in his house, I wouldn't have reunited with my real family. I knew that I owed Mark a lot, and my heart fluttered at these few days that I had spent with him.I hadn't gotten more time to spend with him. I would have loved to know more about him."Welcome home, my daughter. I know that you're finding this hard to believe, but you saw the DNA test, and

Olivia's POV:Arriving at the impressive mansion, I watched Caleb drive his black sports car skillfully into the mansion grounds and parked it."Welcome home, sister," he said, as he turned off his car and my heart swelled up with joy and warmth."Thank you," I said, as I blushed before unfastening my seatbelt."Wait, let me help you with that," Caleb said, as he stopped me from opening the car door by myself.Getting out of the car, Caleb walked over to the other side and pulled the car door open for me to get out like a princess.Smiling, I got out of the car, while I watched my two other brothers' cars arrive as they drove in skillfully into the mansion and parked."Welcome home, sister," my brothers said, as they got out of the car, and helped our parents to get out of their cars too.A group of happy people were standing at the front of the mansion and most of the domestic staff were males which surprised me."Welcome to our home, Olivia. This is where we have lived and I think y

  • Mated To My Obsessive Foster Brother   Chapter 62

Mark's POV:I was happy for Olivia, seeing her reunite with her family. I wasn't expecting the DNA test to prove positive, although I had a feeling that Olivia was probably Caleb's sister. Their resemblance and also, with the fact that Mrs. Grayson had said that her baby had a star birthmark on her back. "Mark, what's going on? Why did the Graysons take Olivia away? Is she really their sister?" Mom asked as she walked up to meet me at the front of the hospital building while I waved goodbye to Olivia. I wanted to go with her to the Graysons' mansion, but I decided for her to bond with her family first. Then we can get back together and continue with our relationship. But will they even allow me to have Olivia? I missed my time with her and honestly didn't want to let Olivia go, but I trust that she won't cheat on me. Even as a man, I was shedding tears at watching her reunite with her family. "Mark!" Mom yelled my name, and only then did I take notice of my sister who had arrived w

  • Mated To My Obsessive Foster Brother   Chapter 61

Olivia's POV:Walking into Dr. Sam's office, I was perspiring as I followed Mark, who held my hand and whispered in my ear."Relax, babe; I believe the test will be positive," he said, his voice cool against my ear.How could I relax when I had been found in a basket and adopted into a family who didn't like me?"Here, have a seat," Dr. Sam said, noticing our anxiety and delaying us slightly.I watched Mr. and Mrs. Grayson sit down first, while Mark and I stood, even though there were two additional guest chairs on the side. Dr. Sam's office was spacious, and the air conditioning unit helped calm my racing heart.Clearing his throat, Dr. Sam smiled and said, "This DNA test result hasn't been tampered with. It was clinically tested and proven correct by our DNA lab expert, who drew samples of your blood and consulted the paternity test. Well, I'll present the two copies—one to you, Olivia George, and the other to Mr. and Mrs. Grayson. You can go ahead and check it out."Dr. Sam said th
