Mag-log in(Mark's POV)
"Wait, Mark! Where are you rushing to? We want to have a little celebration party for winning against the Red Ballers now, and yet, you're in a hurry. Is there something that you're hiding from us?" Daniel asked, moving forward to meet me. His gaze fixed on me coldly as he smirked. I didn't like how Daniel pointed out his questions, drawing the attention of our colleagues. "It's personal, and I do not need to tell you," I replied, my voice calm, my eyes meeting Daniel's gaze. He was angry because Olivia rejected his advances the previous month, before he settled for Emily. How was that my fault? "Don't lie to us, Mark?" Daniel yelled, his eyes shooting daggers at me. "If at all you want to lie, you should have a little respect for Alpha Bryan!" "Let him go, Daniel. I have no interest in what Mark wants to go and do, and since he said it's personal, you don't have to pick on him," Bryan said, his voice calm and trying to settle the rift between Daniel and me. "Daniel, Bryan is right. You're just mad at Mark because his sister rejected you. How is it Mark's fault or problem that you got rejected by Olivia? Stop being a sour loser!" Caleb shouted, picking my side. For some odd reason, I think Caleb and his triplet brothers shared a small resemblance to Olivia, but I was not so sure if they were related to her. Moreover, they never had any sister. "Shut up, you three morons! I am not being sour about Olivia's rejection. Fine, I admit that I got pissed off that she rejected me, but what's so special about her? She's a wolfless girl and born on a moonless night. Who would want a wolfless girl like her? Huh?" Daniel yelled, making my fist clench, but I didn't show my disgust. After all, he was Bryan's Beta. "Say whatever you like about Olivia if that will make you feel better. I am out of here," I replied, my voice stern as I turned to walk away and exit the room. Daniel called out to me, "Mark! I heard from Emily that you're defending that Olivia at home! Are you secretly sleeping with her at home? After all, she is your sister? Who knows what you both are doing behind closed doors? Or why do you suddenly seem to care about her now?" The room dropped silent, as everyone waited to hear my response. Indeed, I rushed back home to take Olivia to the hospital after the housemaid, Tracy, contacted me and informed me that my mother had beaten Olivia and left her to die in the living room. I was at my new home, trying to furnish it, when I left everything I was doing and rushed back to my father's house. I saw Olivia laying lifeless on the living room floor, and Mom had already left for her work, even though she was a nurse. She didn't care to check on Olivia. No one was at home, except for the maid, who was a middle-aged woman. As I entered into the living room, I rushed to carry Olivia in my arms and took her straight to my car. I kept her in the backseat and hopped into my red sports car driving seat. Then I roared my car to life and drove straight to the pack's hospital. Upon my arrival at the pack's magnificent hospital, Mom saw me carry Olivia into the emergency unit, and she was so furious seeing me, as she worked in the obstetrics unit. After I came out and the doctor and nurses attended to Olivia, Mom glared at me, but I didn't wait to speak to her as I rushed back to find out if Olivia was recovering in the emergency unit. Shutting my eyes at the painful memory, I turned to face Daniel, knowing that he was a sour loser, and I demanded, "Does it matter if I am sleeping with Olivia at home? After all, she's beautiful, so stay out of my business!" Everyone's jaw dropped in shock, including Bryan Anderson. His expression soured because I knew that he liked Olivia too, but he never voiced his thoughts. His alpha pheromones thickened the atmosphere in the room as I knew that he frequently visited me at my father's house, but I found out his visit was not because of me, but to get a glimpse of Olivia. I had caught Bryan stealing glances at Olivia too, but he couldn't admit to his feelings for her. After all, she was wolfless. Also, Bryan is the next alpha of the Star Field Pack; his parents won't support him to pick a wolfless woman as his mate. Bryan's younger sister, Ava, was in Olivia's class, but they weren't friends, so that held him back from chasing after her, and I am okay with it. I knew he cannot have a wolfless woman as his Luna, so that held him back from pursuing Olivia, but something in the way he looks at her made me uncomfortable and knows that he desires her too. Clearing his throat, Bryan snarled coldly, "Mark, how can you take advantage of Olivia? Did she agree to sleep with you, or you forced yourself on her?" Laughing as I saw their questioning gaze, their eyes peered at me disdainfully, but I replied with a smirk, "I have standards and don't force myself on women. Stay away from my sister. Whatever relationship I have with Olivia is my headache. After all, she is not related to me by blood." The atmosphere in the room thickened as Coach Tyler had left us. I spun and left them, shutting the door behind me. "Mark is damn crazy! How can he take advantage of that beautiful young lady? Is it because she is an orphan? We heard her parents threw her out when she was born?" Caleb's voice resonated in the room as I stood in the hallway preparing to leave for the hospital. They were not happy that I admitted to being in a relationship with Olivia. She was not my blood sister, so I don't care what they had to say. Logan growled in my head, "Let's not pay attention to them. The earliest we claim Olivia, the best to keep them away from her." "You're right," I agreed with Logan, making my way out of the basketball court. I got into my red sports car, and I drove off to the pack's hospital, anticipating seeing Olivia. As I didn't want to arrive at the pack's hospital empty-handed, Logan advised me, "Mark, let's get a present for Olivia. What do you think that she will like?" As I drove down the road that leads to the pack's hospital, I caught sight of a resturant, and I was famished. I was supposed to join my teammates for lunch, but I didn't want to spend much time with them, knowing that I had pressing matters to take care of. A smile curled up my lips, then I drove my car into the resturant ground and parked it. When I got out of my car, I came across Ava Anderson and my younger sister, Emily. "Hey, Mark!" Ava exclaimed as she rushed up to envelop me in a warm hug, her chest pressing against mine, and my wolf grimaced in disgust. Even though Ava was our Alpha's daughter, Logan didn't like her, as she was a cheap woman and had slept with many handsome guys in our pack. I was her target, and I didn't want her as her eyes shamelessly raked over me with clear desire. She bit her bottom lip as she moved away, running her left fingers through her hair as she wore a yellow crop top and pink shorts with pink shoes. She was stunning with enchanting yellow eyes that glowed with so much lust in them. However, Emily glared at me and looked away. She was still annoyed that I had picked Olivia's side and protected Olivia against her. After all, Olivia was my sister too, even as I planned to befriend her now. I cannot seem to get her out of my mind, especially after I had run into her náked. That day, I cursed myself for not knocking and going into her room.(Mark's POV)I had finished painting some of the client works that I had pending on my laptop, based on client requests, when Caleb mind-linked me that he was coming over to my house with Olivia.Swiftly, I left everything I was doing and rushed out of the house to welcome them.Although my father had mind-linked me too, and invited me home for us to discuss Emily's mate bond with Carter and how we can reach out to Carter, as Emily was unhappy and crying.Well, as much as I like my sister, I couldn't trade my own happiness for her to be happy. So I haven't agreed to visit him yet. But hearing that Olivia was coming over to my house made me overjoyed. As the security man pulled the gate open, I walked out to welcome them and enveloped Olivia in a warm hug after she returned back.Allowing her to go home wasn't what I wanted, but I couldn't stop her from reuniting with her family. After all, I knew how much it meant to her."How is home? Why did you bring her back? Is she going to live
Olivia's POV:After dinner with my parents ended at the table, I picked up the napkin to wipe my lips clean."Thanks, Mom and Dad," I said with a smile, recalling that Nancy and her husband had barred me from eating at the dining table with them or even calling them Dad and Mom."You're welcome, Summer," my parents said, calling me by my real name."Don't worry. Once Caleb is done, he will escort you to Mark's house to get your stuff, okay?" my dad said, to which I smiled and rose to my feet."Alright. I would like to use the washroom," I said with a soft voice, as I excused myself from the dining table.I made my way upstairs and went back to my room, and I went to the bathroom to use it. The room was neat, including the washroom. When I was done, I got out and met my mother in the room.I smiled, walking up to meet her, as I had dried my hands with a tissue in the washroom."How was life growing up with the George's family? Although I am not happy that you chose to be with Mark," Mo
Olivia's POVWalking into the living room of the magnificent mansion, I gasped at the grand stairs and interior decoration. The mansion was more stunning than Mark's home or Mr. and Mrs. George's home."You're welcome home, Summer. This is your home too," my family said, as they all smiled at me.Tears welled up in my eyes as I could not believe that this was my real family. It all felt like a dream, but it wasn't.Taking a glance around the grand living room, I peered at the artistic painting on the wall.I saw a similar artistic image, but with different clothes, of the baby drawn on the wall.So if Mark hadn't drawn this baby portrait in his house, I wouldn't have reunited with my real family. I knew that I owed Mark a lot, and my heart fluttered at these few days that I had spent with him.I hadn't gotten more time to spend with him. I would have loved to know more about him."Welcome home, my daughter. I know that you're finding this hard to believe, but you saw the DNA test, and
Olivia's POV:Arriving at the impressive mansion, I watched Caleb drive his black sports car skillfully into the mansion grounds and parked it."Welcome home, sister," he said, as he turned off his car and my heart swelled up with joy and warmth."Thank you," I said, as I blushed before unfastening my seatbelt."Wait, let me help you with that," Caleb said, as he stopped me from opening the car door by myself.Getting out of the car, Caleb walked over to the other side and pulled the car door open for me to get out like a princess.Smiling, I got out of the car, while I watched my two other brothers' cars arrive as they drove in skillfully into the mansion and parked."Welcome home, sister," my brothers said, as they got out of the car, and helped our parents to get out of their cars too.A group of happy people were standing at the front of the mansion and most of the domestic staff were males which surprised me."Welcome to our home, Olivia. This is where we have lived and I think y
Mark's POV:I was happy for Olivia, seeing her reunite with her family. I wasn't expecting the DNA test to prove positive, although I had a feeling that Olivia was probably Caleb's sister. Their resemblance and also, with the fact that Mrs. Grayson had said that her baby had a star birthmark on her back. "Mark, what's going on? Why did the Graysons take Olivia away? Is she really their sister?" Mom asked as she walked up to meet me at the front of the hospital building while I waved goodbye to Olivia. I wanted to go with her to the Graysons' mansion, but I decided for her to bond with her family first. Then we can get back together and continue with our relationship. But will they even allow me to have Olivia? I missed my time with her and honestly didn't want to let Olivia go, but I trust that she won't cheat on me. Even as a man, I was shedding tears at watching her reunite with her family. "Mark!" Mom yelled my name, and only then did I take notice of my sister who had arrived w
Olivia's POV:Walking into Dr. Sam's office, I was perspiring as I followed Mark, who held my hand and whispered in my ear."Relax, babe; I believe the test will be positive," he said, his voice cool against my ear.How could I relax when I had been found in a basket and adopted into a family who didn't like me?"Here, have a seat," Dr. Sam said, noticing our anxiety and delaying us slightly.I watched Mr. and Mrs. Grayson sit down first, while Mark and I stood, even though there were two additional guest chairs on the side. Dr. Sam's office was spacious, and the air conditioning unit helped calm my racing heart.Clearing his throat, Dr. Sam smiled and said, "This DNA test result hasn't been tampered with. It was clinically tested and proven correct by our DNA lab expert, who drew samples of your blood and consulted the paternity test. Well, I'll present the two copies—one to you, Olivia George, and the other to Mr. and Mrs. Grayson. You can go ahead and check it out."Dr. Sam said th
