Masuk"How dare you!" Jax clutched Amelia's wrist, anger burning in his eyes.
"I didn't know what happened! It was Chantel-she injected me with ecstasy!" Amelia explained eagerly, trying to convince Jax of her innocence.
"You betrayed me, Amelia. When Chantel told me you had been seen with another man, I chose not to believe it. But when you actually had sex with someone else, did you ever think about the gut-wrenching pain I would have to endure as your mate?" Jax bellowed, his voice filled with pain and anger, his eyes blazing.
"Jax please believe mel" Amelia's voice was tearful, almost pleading.
Jax clenched his fists, his face a mask of unbelievable disappointment and pain. His eyes fell on the stark red blood on the bed, and his chest felt as if it were being torn apart. Betrayal between partners was undoubtedly the deepest wound. Amelia stood in a daze; her memory of the previous night was a blank. She couldn't explain what had happened, but she knew that no matter what she said, it couldn't change the reality.
"Believe your lies?" Jax's voice was low and suffocating, each word cutting like a blade. "I swore to protect you, even to go to any lengths to prove your innocence. But why did you choose to betray me like this?"
"I'm not lying! This is all part of Chantel's plot! She planned it!" Amelia growled angrily, her eyes burning scarlet as she glared at Chantel with fury.
"That's enough! Stop blaming your mistakes on others!" Jax roared, his voice thundering like a storm. His eyes were cold, yet blazing with anger.
"Chantel was with me the whole time. How could she have planned all this?"
Amelia turned her gaze to Chantel, who stood next to Jax with a meaningful smile on her lips. Her eyes gleamed with excitement and pride, as if she had already won.
"I don't want to see you again, Amelia," Jax said, his voice deep and resolute, his eyes a mix of pain and contempt.
"Wh...What did you say?" Amelia murmured, though her heart already understood the meaning of his words.
Jax took a deep breath, and his voice carried a cold sense of finality: "I, Jax Stone, the future Beta of the Silvermoon Pack, reject you, Amelia, the Alpha daught the Silvermoon It is what you deserve. Accept it!"
Amelia shook her head, tears running down her cheeks. She couldn't believe it, couldn't accept that someone she loved could treat her so cruelly.
"Accept it!" Jax approached her coldly, his voice piercing into her ear like a knife blade. "You are a wolf-less traitor, a faithless woman! You don't deserve to be my mate!"
She froze, unable to move, unable even to look Jax in the eye. The pain was so severe that her legs grew weak, and she almost collapsed.
"Accept it!" Jax growled at Amelia. His voice, like thunder, made her heart tremble. A tear rolled down her chin, and she clenched her teeth, trying to stifle her cries. However, the pain and humiliation eventually broke her. She nodded gently, like someone utterly destroyed. If eyes could kill, Jax's eyes would have cut her a thousand times.
Finally, Jax grasped her chin and turned away, without a trace of nostalgia. Amelia lost her support and collapsed to the ground, bursting into tears.
Chantel crouched down slowly, a sneering smile on her face. She held up a finger and contemptuously lifted Amelia's chin. "Serves you right, bitch."
Amelia raised her swollen, red eyes and stared at Chantel with a mixture of anger and grief. Her voice trembled. "Why? Why are you doing this to me? What have I done to you?"
Chantel sneered, hate flashing in her eyes. "Don't act so innocent. Your mother stole my mother's husband, and you destroyed our family. And you -stole my father!"
Chantel's eyes turned cold as she raised her hand and slapped Amelia hard. The sharp shade of the slap echoed in the empty room.
"I never wanted to argue with you about anything," Amelia cried, her voice filled with pain. "Why are you doing this to me?"
"You always act so innocent, like a saint, attracting everyone's attention!" Chantel sneered, her arms crossed, her eyes full of disdain. "You took Jax. As long as you are around, he only sees you! It's absurd that the Moon Goddess would choose a bitch like you as her mate!"
Chantel stood up straight, looking down at Amelia with icy detachment. "But now, everything is back on track. Expelled, rejected-all these are traps I've created for you, my dear sister."
"Traps?" Amelia stared at Chantel in shock and disbelief.
"Yes," Chantel replied, a hint of triumph and cruelty in her eyes.
"You hurt Leon! He's your brother, and you hurt him to get rid of me!"
Amelia's eyes welled up with tears, her red, swollen eyes widening in shock. "Leon... It was you... You did this to him? Chantel, how could you?!" Her voice trembled with anger and heartache.
"So what?" Chantel snapped back, her voice dripping with contempt. "You're banished. A wolf-less piece of shit!"
Without another word, Chantel stood up and walked out of the room, not sparing a second glance at Amelia. She couldn't wait to tell her mother what had happened.
"Mom!" Chantel's voice rang sweetly as she entered Iris's private living room.
Iris looked up from her magazine, raising an eyebrow gracefully. "I hope you bring good news, Chantel."
"Mom, you doubt me?" Chantel complained with feigned grievance, then chuckled and walked over to the sofa. Iris's private living room had always been her sanctuary-so secretive that even her Alpha father didn't know it existed.
Chantel proudly recounted everything she had done to Amelia that day. Without Iris's support and planning, her "perfect plan" would never have succeeded so smoothly.
After hearing this, Iris smirked, the corner of her lips curling. "This is my daughter. As smart as your mother."
"Always," Chantel replied, her chest swelling with pride.
"And there's even better news-Amelia didn't get her wolf." Chantel leaned back on the couch, sounding as relaxed as if she were talking about the weather.
"That's exactly what I was expected." Iris's smile deepened, a grimness in her eyes as she admired her freshly manicured nails, content to all plan in her control.
"It's all over," Chantel said with a lazy stretch and a smirk on her lips. "I'm going upstairs now and turning Amelia's room into my second cloakroom."
Iris smiled, a playful glint in her eyes. "So soon, Chantel? At least pretend to be sad for your father's sake. Don't forget, Leon isn't awake yet."
Chantel's face darkened immediately. She frowned and said coldly, "He won't care. He only has eyes for the so-called 'precious heir." There was an undisguised bitterness and jealousy in her voice.
Iris simply smiled faintly, apparently not surprised. She knew Chantel's words weren't misplaced. If she hadn't given birth to Leon, the Alpha's heir, he would never have marked her as pack's Luna. At that point, she might have been forced to accept the mark of her omega mate and live in eternal humiliation.
Chantel turned and walked up the stairs to Amelia's room. The room still smelled of Amelia's perfume, and the familiar scent made Chantel feel sick and uneasy. She wrinkled her nose, opened the windows and balcony doors, letting the cold air rush in and dispel any trace of Amelia.
She stood in the middle of the room, glancing around as if the space itself were a provocation.
She went to the wardrobe, pulled out pieces of Amelia's clothes, and threw them on the floor. Then she ripped the sheets off the bed, kicked the pillows aside, and tossed the shoes across the room from the pe closet. Each movement was deliberate and rough, as if venting the jealousy and anger in her heart.
Standing amidst the chaos, Chantel lifted her chin with a sneer on her face. "She thought she was perfect, but now she's nothing."
Chantel pulled out her phone, posed in front of the mirror, and began taking pictures. A sudden knock at the door interrupted her movements. She frowned, trying to ignore it, and continued adjusting herself for a more perfect selfie. The next moment, however, the door was thrown open.
"Who are you?" Chantel turned abruptly, blurting out in alarm and unease.
At the door stood a tall man in black pants and a leather jacket, still clutching the doorknob. He had soft brown eyes and meticulously groomed black hair, but there was an aura about him that felt strany and dangerous.
His eyes scanned Chantel from top to bottom, and she subconsciously lowered her phone and took two steps back.
Chantel soon realized that the man was not her father's guard. His temperament, his attire, even his eyes, were nothing like a member of the group.
"I've been sent to get you," the man said, his voice low but unmistakably cold.
"What?" Chantel narrowed her eyes, trying to make sense of what was happening.
The man did not repeat himself. He walked straight into the room. Chantel reflexively backed away, her phone slipping from her hand and crashing to the floor with a sharp thud.
"Come with me," his tone was cold and devoid of emotion.
"No! I won't go!" Chantel screamed, panic and anger lacing her voice.
However, as soon as she had finished speaking, the man suddenly stepped forward, putting a hand quickly over her mouth and forcing her scream to stop.
Chantel struggled violently, but the man's strength was surprisingly powerful, and she couldn't shake him off. He grabbed her by the arm and dragged her out of the bedroom.
"Let me go!" A wave of despair welled up in Chantel's heart as she desperately tried to get anyone's attention. However, the corridor was eerily quiet, as if the entire house were empty. No one came to save her.
The man forcibly dragged her out of the house, where a dark-colored SUV with reflective windows completely obscured the viev the interior. Two other men stood beside the SUV, their faces expressionless, clearly part of the same group. They quickly opened the door and shoved Chantel into the back seat.
With the low roar of the engine, the car sped away from the mansion. Chantel slumped in her seat, her eyes filled with fear and confusion. She couldn't believe what had just happened.

AmeliaIt was dark and I had no idea where to go. The night air was chilly and everywhere so cold that it felt like I would freeze to death at any moment. How could they be so cruel? Not only was I expelled from the pack, but I was left with nothing. No money and here I was standing by the pack borders, penniless.
